starsandshamrocks123 i know some offices do it several times, and i think if it shows up in urine samples they don't even swab.
This just happened to me. I had an appointment on Monday (28 weeks) and it came back in my urine. GBS UTI is how they listed it on the patient portal but apparently it's not an actual UTI since I'm not being treated and have no symptoms. I'm a RCS anyway so I guess that worked out.

Not liking because it's fun. I'm glad it's not a huge deal for you though! Apparently that's pretty common.

I was pretty concerned at first and figured I'd need a round of antibiotics currently to treat the UTI (I've never had one before) but the snotty nurse at the office assured me no one cares about my group B strep until delivery or ever since I'm a RCS.
I'm glad it's NBD but I wish the nurses would understand that #1 I'm not a medical professional, #2 my kid, my body, my loss history makes everything a big deal to me, and #3 I'm pregnant and hormonal and don't need the 'tude.
She was really eating crackers for me if you can't tell. 😂
wineoclock YES, you would think they'd learn to be a little more sensitive! I've had nurses and doctors almost giggle at me. I always think - I work in finance, and if I laughed at a client who asked me a question related to MY JOB, I'd lose the client. Every time.
Did anyone see a slight increase in blood pressure towards the end of second tri? Mine keeps jumping up a bit. The highest its been for me is 125/78. I have a cuff at home. This was after drinking a few sips of coffee and some water. It hasn't stayed there, it's jumping all over the place. Just not as low as is normal for me during pregnancy.
Yes. Mine has returned to my pre-pregnancy level, which is slightly above normal. I take mine at home 1-2 times a day. The doctor is only worried if there is protein in my urine and mine had always been negative.
