"Our policy is that they have to take their cell phone with them any time they leave the classroom (gym/playground/field trip/etc) in case of an emergency. We want to make sure our teachers have adequate means of communication if they need help - however they shouldn't be using their phones otherwise. I will remind the staff in his room about cell phone use! Our first concern is always the safety of the kids - I apologize for that teachers' actions!"

No vomit since 10:30, which was in the driveway after a quick trip to Walgreen's for water and juice. She convinced me her tummy told her she wanted grilled cheese and strawberries for lunch. They stayed inside her and she is acting normal again, so we are hopefully in the clear. She is currently watching peppa on my phone while laying in bed and I'm watching the 2nd season of the Great British Baking show on Netflix.

mwhipple77 I'm sorry you fought, but this is a good opportunity to E that we don't touch people who do not want to be touched. Just say that you were mad at Daddy and he tried to hold your hand and you didn't want to be touched so you told him no.

Sorry for all the sick kiddos. And I hope things are looking up, mwhipple77.
Work was insane this morning and I had to leave early for Chase's 12 month appointment. He bled EVERYWHERE after his toe prick and lost his little mind after the doctor took a look at his ears. He was so traumatized that he passed out while DH and the doctor talked, and only woke up for shots. Poor guy. Except I am terrible because I enjoyed the snuggles.
-- SNIP --. I have a hard time communicating, this is something he and I both know. Trying to actually voice what I'm thinking is difficult, I cry, he starts talking, I don't finish complete thoughts.-- SNIP--
This is me exactly. Except instead of not finishing my thoughts sometimes I find myself saying what I don't even really mean.
I hope whatever outcome you get is what you want. This stuff is tough.

Spoke too soon. Now the pooping has started. At least she's in good spirits, but damn she is stinky. I want to put her in a pullup just in case, but she's refusing.
klongoria11 I hope this is the end of the virus for C.
wedding I'm sorry that kid said that. Kids don't think. One of my students accidentally called my partner teacher mom one day, which is fairly common. Then he said "sorry, I always think of my mom when I see you because you are both real chubby." I don't think he realized how that came out.
@peachsmama I hope you are snuggling at home.
@mwhipple44 sorry about your fight. I think the email was a good idea. You got to say your piece without his immediate reaction getting in the way.
I got my keratin treatment Saturday and I love it but I can't wait until tomorrow when I can finally wash it.

Last night I had trouble sleeping due to worrying about my job search and how giving birth in less than 2 months is going to affect that, etc. This morning I saw and applied to 3 promising jobs (2 with old coworkers, one who already mentioned me to a recruiting manager), got a 1st round interview with another company later this week, and have a breakfast meeting scheduled with another company to discuss temporary work.
Soo I guess I'm worrying too much? (As I still stress about all what-ifs as I type this)

@mwhipple they are good! My left eye feels 100%, my right eye probably 90%. I'm stopped wearing the sleeping mask over the weekend (so uncomfortable!) and I get to wear we makeup again on Friday! Lol, that part has been killing me, my lashes are blonde so without mascara they look non existent! Thank you for asking!
I think writing an email to your husband is a good way of communicating. I'm big on writing letters. I have a super short temper so when we fight I tend to go from 0-60 and say things I don't mean because I get so mad. It's not a good look.
So 2 of my friends' 3/4 year old sons who were here for Chase's party are fully PT, day and night. It's helped get Colin motivated again, going more often and wanting to night train. Only now he's so obsessed that I don't know how he'll ever fall asleep - he keeps getting up to pee because he's afraid of peeing in his diaper. Too funny.
C learned about the Power Rangers at school and is obsessed. It must be the worst show of all time. I need to redirect him to something better.
He also wanted me to paint his toenails tonight. I did it in exchange for being able to clip his fingernails. So he is now nicely manicured.
My boys are obssesed, and it's super annoying. We will let them watch it on weekend mornings, but I find myself yelling things like "stop power rangering your brother!!!"
According to daycare, h was pretty normal today minus one big blowout. But he was super crabby once we got home so I took him for a walk thinking he'd fall asleep. He didn't, so we laid him down for what I thought would be a cat nap at 6:30 while we ate dinner. He's still asleep so I'm assuming it's for the night. although, he hasn't had dinner and is still in his clothes, so I'm sure he'll wake up at some point.
At what point would you keep him home from daycare? They didn't seem concerned today but this is day 4 of him being "off"- no appetite, more tired, clingy and a few blowouts over the past few days. He is working on a tooth, but that doesn't seem to be the issue.
We had a good day today. This morning we went to play group, then home for lunch/nap. When everyone woke up we met my older sister and kids at the park. B got a bloody nose because he was playing with a swing and it knocked him in the face. My sister called me with the news while I was cooking supper. I kept my calm for the kids because I am not going to be the one to tell B. After supper we went on a walk around the block, H is getting so good at peddling her bike. B has not figured out peddling though so DH had to reattach the handle to push him on H's old trike. Everyone got a bath and now they are all in bed. I'm pooped.

Cadence had a good night and there was no more poop. I gave her a probiotic this afternoon, so hopefully that will help. She went to bed without much fuss, so hopefully she makes it through the night and in the morning be 100%.
Just went into H's room to check on him and almost gagged from the smell. He had another blowout so I woke him and changed him while dh changed his bedding. I nursed him and he went back to sleep so I'm hoping he'll be out for the night now.
slenle are you giving him any probiotics or anything? They might help a bit.
I haven't, but can pick some up in the morning! Any recommendations on what kind? I've never used them before
L was having like 4 huge blow outs a day last week. So gross! I buy any of the children's probiotics. Curelle (something like that) is one brand. They come in single use packets and i just sprinkle about 1/3 or 1/2 a packet into a bottle 1-2 times a day for her.
