mrspiatt , honestly, i am floored by your news. First and foremost, I am happy you and H seem to be working things out, that is the most important thing! Secondly, congratulations on your happy news!!! I understand your hesitation in being excited. But please know, if this is something you truly wanted, then be excited! You are a great mom to A and no matter what was going on with your H and you, your H was still a good dad to A. And you are right, your dd1 will have the option to move with you all and if she chooses not too, than that is her choice. At this point, you all need to do what's best for you.
We don't really have mountains, but we have hills and oceans...come to fl...
And I am super happy to hear that ampaints was here when you needed someone, she is pretty freakin awesome.
Second this. New england has mountains ocean and maple syrup!

mrspiatt congrats and hugs. That is so much to be dealing with. I hope that you and YH have been able to find a therapist to help you both through this difficult time.

Wow! Crazy stuff! We had a bridge that was heavily damaged by a tanker fire a few years ago. Took about 6 months for them to fix it. Glad that no one seems to have been injured.
This won't help but we had a bridge collapse about 10 yrs ago here. During rush hour. It did cause the state to look at every bridge for safety. Because it made national news I feel like other states probably did the same.
We've been hearing on the news that most of our bridges need to be fixed now or they'll be unsafe for use. Great. I think of the bridge collapse near you every time I hear it. I already hate getting stopped on or under a bridge, and this just makes it 10x worse.

We had such a great day! Had a great dinner as a family as a local brewery. It was loud and everyone thought M was adorable with his yelling. Lol! Even DS1 was so great and pleasant to be around. My heart is full. Poof I love how much DS2 absolutely adores DS1!

mrspiatt wow!! First, congrats! Second, you can feel whatever you need to feel, or not know what to feel at any given moment. You've been going through a lot lately, and I'm glad to hear things are getting better.

noname, how is the new house coming? Any progress on when it will be done? We were just talking tonight about waiting for our first meeting with the builder and was wondering how things were with yours? I recall you saying it was quite delayed so far.

My brother is here and it's the first time he's ever met C. He hasn't seen J since he was just a few months old. Guys, they LOVE him. My normally shy daughter was giving him kisses by dinner. It's amazing, and I'm so glad he's here.
mrspiatt Atlanta is awesome. Pretty, multiple seasons, mild winter, hills and close to mountains, great airport, lots of activities in and near Atlanta. I mean it's really no contest 😂
joi922 I'm glad you're having a good visit with your brother.
Haha, a house on my street went for sale today, mrspiatt. It is SO nice! Small but 100% updated. If we weren't looking for bigger and wanting to move away from ILs, I'd be jumping on it.
It's 2:30 and I've already been awake twice. I haven't had such a night of restless sleep in a long time. I guess I'll make my grocery list since I'm up
Though I was vaguely annoying when the hygienist said they recommended stopping nursing at 12 months but it was a person decision.
I think I mentioned before that my kid has some dental issues. We stopped MOTN nursing and we brush her teeth after her her bedtime nursing but they didn't tell me to cut her off completely.
This was the hygienist before they even looked in his mouth. We stopped nursing motn at about a year for my own sanity. But I think I need to cut back now. He is constantly asking now that he has a word for it. It is starting to drive me nuts. And it really don't want to be nursing a 3 year old.
