What I have cooking in the crock pot today is making me nauseous. Hopefully I'll still be able to eat it, but my guess is probably not. At least DS and I got out of the house for a bit this afternoon. It's a lovely 50*F day, so we went on a half hour walk. Hooray for fresh air!
50F sounds glorious! It's already pushing 90 here... summer is going to be a bitch.
DS is home sick and my mom is here watching Moana with him downstairs. I can't even see the freaking TV and I'm still crying at the parts where the grandma's spirit shows up.
I feel like I cry more each time I watch it. Sometimes even the soundtrack makes me tear up.

My mom gave us her hello fresh box this week and I made a chicken with some filo stuff and I'm sick as hell. I'm usually not a victim of the morning sickness epidemic but holy shit. Just sent DH for a large blizzard from DQ. Don't judge.

I made the best Guacamole ever tonight
When I first moved out on my own and and tried to make guacamole for the first time ever, I was walking around the grocery store looking for guacamole's , I even asked a person who worked there where I could find them ! lol he said he didn't know where guacamole's were .. so I called my mom and was like wtf and she's like Omg , you need avocados!! Lol!! Everytime I make it I think of it!

arimaythea, I gained 20lbs over the holidays and this is my fourth baby. I feel like a whale but I'm definitely rubbing my Christmas food baby and pretending it's the real baby bump.
DS1 gave me a stomach bug. And I have a headache that feels like dehydration, but I am scared to drink water because I think it will make me start puking. DNW both ends to be engaged in gastrointestinal warfare. I'm really hoping I can just sleep it off.

Tiny sips! Try to keep hydrated; I hope it passes quickly!
Really? I had partial placenta previa with DD - found at the anatomy scan, maybe? No action except an extra u/s to confirm it cleared on it's own at 30ish weeks.
I wonder why they consider it a risk and need pelvic rest?
I have no idea, but I'm wishing I had your doctors instead of mine right now. She acted like it was nothing to be concerned about but that any action in the area could cause issues, so maybe it's just an extreme precaution. And maybe because they found it so early on me? I have no idea. That makes me really want to request an u/s at my next appointment though.
I would assume you would get an ultrasound to check; they're going to want to make sure your placenta hasn't moved any lower. I hope it's lookin good and they take you off restrictions!

I shall laugh with you. Feeling barfy most of the time with a whiny, energy draining tot in tow, the thought doesn't even come close to crossing my mind.SaveSave
Baby's heartbeat was seen! It's been a long morning though. Doctor couldn't find it, they sent me over to the hospital for an ultrasound. Cue massive panic. Ultrasound tech found it right away though and I got to see baby (and it's little flickering hearbeat). Not quite the way I pictured starting spring break!
Yay! for baby's HB! not yay for all the drama leading up to hear the HB though. Sorry you had to have that unpleasant feeling but happy the end result was brilliant news! Happened at my first U/S appt but I was already at the hospital so I just had to walk across to the end of the hallway but still....talk about total mind fuck. SaveSave
My dinner: an orange, watermelon, starburst jelly beans
That sounds fine! This past weekend I just couldn't stomach the dinner I made so I made cheese sauce and had chips and salsa with it and to make myself feel better a small bowl of cabbage, apple and carrot slaw. Strangely enough I could tolerate raw cabbage but cannot stand the smell of it cooking.SaveSave

MMM, a blizzard, guacamole, and starburst jelly beans all sound pretty great right now. I'm still thinking about that delicious spaghetti and meatball dinner NariaDreaming had last week though. Drool.
Well, despite the awful smell, I was able to down some dinner before heading to work. Then treated myself to a McDonald's cheeseburger and fries on the way home.

Noooo! Hope you are able to keep some water down and get good sleep tonight. Fx for a better morning!
I want to sleep so bad but instead I'm laying here awake thinking about how a white tiger is inbred. My coworkers told me this yesterday. How did I not know?? I'm also considering a bowl of cereal but too lazy to get up.

I'm pretty sure my UTI has moved to my kidneys... I'm suddenly dealing with the world's worst back pain.
$10 says I get a 3rd round of antibiotics. And if that happens at ANY point in this pregnancy (3rd round of abx) it means I automatically get the IV of the good stuff during labor for GBS 🙄🙄🙄

duskymonkey - DH was carrying DS down a set of stairs and slipped, DH's knee landed on DS's leg and fractured it.
Finally pulled out the doppler last night. My boss wants us to turn in our goals for the year and since I'll have 3 less months to get things done, I've decided to come clean at work. Wanted to hear baby's heartbeat before giving the news though, for some reassurance that things were still cooking in there. Only took me about 5 minutes to find it and it was really reassuring to hear.

i told the girl I nanny for a week or so ago about the baby. She asked me yesterday how long of a maternity leave I was planning. Part of me wanted to look at her and say," seriously? I have 30 more weeks to get that figured out. Sheesh. " but the reality of a second pregnancy is, I have no idea of anything. Ds was severe preeclampsia. I have no idea what will happen this time around. I could have zero complications. But I could also have a preemie. I don't know. And that's what I told her. I imagined 6-8wks. But who know how things will go. I could have the baby super early. Or I could have the baby at normal time. I just don't know.
