My flame free Monday confession is that I drug the kids through Jungle Jim's today so that I won't have to go grocery shopping on my next two days off. They love JJ though, so win, win I guess.
Omg why can't I pump enough milk today. I hate pumping. I don't mind sitting hooked up to a pump but I do mind never knowing if I'll get 2 ounces or 7 or anywhere between!

Time to replace membranes or is it always up and down?

Sorry I'm pumping right now and anxious to see what I get this pump. I've got a hands free bra on but I'm constantly massaging my boobs so not really that hands free lol.

It's always up and down. Typically a few good days and a few bad. Also- I use so many different pieces/ membranes, I have no idea which are newer etc.. but I don't think that's it because I do get a let down quickly and I know my boob is empty because I squeeze until no more will come out and pump a few min after. It's just some days I'm full and leaking and other days no leak.

My first week pumping was pretty high. I think a hormone high from being with baby 24/7. You may have a better time starting part time too.
Hiiii! Catching up now. Was at an all day client meeting. Work has just been ridiculously insane lately and I also have to do a presentation in Lexington on Wednesday before heading up to Columbus for a two day conference. Oh, and I effed up my withholding elections for taxes so we owe like thousands of dollars in taxes.
I feel a little on edge lately, which translates into being a huge bitch to H about 95% of the time. I feel bad about it, but I can't help myself.

chrispy1122 sorry for the rough day. MH usually gets my wrath when I'm stressed and having a bad day, I can't help myself either. Thankfully he's used to it by now lol.

Poor C really didn't nap at dc. She took 4 little 15-20 min naps. She looked so exhausted when I got her, she's passed out sleeping now. I just felt so bad for her, I hope she figures out how to sleep there or else she's going to have a rough time. It's a shame that DC' s can't have a separate area for the cribs that are quieter and darker, I'm sure the change of environment and noise was hard on her.

TL; DR - No root canal for twinkle toes.
Good news? The dentist couldn't find anything wrong. They got the green light from my OB for XRays, and nothing came up there. The doc. did an exam, and although I'm complaining of pain, nothing she could see. Bad news? They couldn't find anything wrong, so no explanation for the pain. They gave me a script for penicillin to kill off any possible infection they're not seeing. I'm scared to take it because my mom and babe are both allergic to it. They gave me a referral to an endodontist to see if he could find a cause for the pain, and then possibly perform a root canal if needed. I don't know how necessary that is seeing as how there's nothing on the XRays. Dentist said removing the tooth for whatever reason is not recommended because my roots are so deep they would have to cut into the bone and everything. Nothankyou.
My mom keeps telling me it's my sinuses. I still have a lingering cough from that cold and when I cough, phlegm comes up. I've thrown up the last two days from the cough. The dentist did ask if I suffer from allergies or something sinus related, so maybe my mom's right, and it's my sinuses from being messed up for the past month. I have an OB appt. Thur. so will be talking to them about all this then. T & P's I can actually get some sleep tonight.

How did you feel while she was gone? I'm sure she's just adjusting -- A has been in DC since 9 weeks. I personally like that they nap with sound and lights. It's made A such a great sleeper she can sleep any where and it does a great job of teaching them day and night.

sstwinklinglites what a bummer. Hopefully your OB can give you some good advice. And FX for a good night's sleep tonight!
vlagroupie aww little C. I'm sure she will adjust. It does suck that they can't have separate playing and sleeping areas.
Does anyone have a dog on anxiety meds? Our dog has major anxiety when we leave. We try to keep her downstairs in the basement when we aren't home and had one of those wooden gates up. She burst through the wire part (she's a big 60lb dog). She eats through crates and destroys the trim if we try to shut her in a room. I'm thinking ahead to the new home... I don't want her destroying anything while we are gone and I'm wondering if anxiety meds would help calm her while we are gone so we don't have to lock her up anywhere.

How was drop off and pick up ?
I felt ok. Work went quick. I just felt guilty when I saw how tired she was. I finally woke her up to eat and she's still sleepy. I hope she will adjust, I mean she has to. N's been a good sleeper at home but not the greatest at dc. But she didn't start until she was a year old. So hopefully starting early with C will help. I dropped C off separately from N so it was easy. I got both of them at pick up, it was pretty good. But I think N was affected by C going to dc too. When she got home she was literally asking to be swaddled and wanted a paci and bottle of milk, wtf kid?!?!

We had one when she was a puppy and got rid of it cause I thought she was outgrowing the anxiety. I totally forgot about them. Maybe I'll get another (she would need a bigger size now anyway). I totally noticed a difference with it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm sorry you didn't get any relief sstwinklinglites the fact that they referred you to an endowhatever makes me wonder if the dentist you saw even does root canals. I'm sure every case is different, but my dentist knew I needed one before we even confirmed it with xray, and he does them himself. I'm thinking if this dentist doesn't do them she may not be as familiar with identifying them, KWIM? I would seriously put money down that you'll need one. I hope you didn't have a copay for today's visit.
sstwinklinglites, if you are convinced it's tooth related, I might go to another dentist. When I was pregnant with DS1 I had a toothache and they didn't see anything with the first X-rays. I insisted they try again and after adjusting the angle a little they saw a shadow. Looked at it closer and found a pocket infection, I think that's what it was called. I believe it was technically in my gum, but the pain was definitely in my tooth, up into my jaw and face. No surgery needed, just a prescription mouthwash. It's never come back or given me any issue. Maybe even call the place back you were already at. It was Colgate Periogard. Would be a cheap, easy thing to try if nothing else while you wait to see a specialist. I remember it helping very quickly.

I imagine it would be cheaper than the meds anyway. Pet meds can be crazy...
