I just noticed yesterday that C has one molar poking through. It's about 1/4 of the way out. Since he normally is pretty high maintenance and prone to tantrums, I couldn't even begin to guess when it started cutting.
L just got his first set of molars. It was awful. It lasted for more than a month. He also has RSV for two weeks during all that and he was a total mess. I was so exhausted.
DS has a case of pink eye. We took him to the clinic yesterday and got some drops but he is home from daycare today. My dad is visiting and my dad offered to watch him. My H will actually be home this morning, but DS is going to be with my dad for 4-5 hours which kind of makes me nervous. But it's nice that I don't have to miss work.

I think we have molars coming here too. She's been chewing on her thumb and index finger for a few days now and the runny nose started up again yesterday.
This is DH's last full week with us before deployment. So much left to do. Cue stress.

E had the flu and an ear infection last week. And now she has a bottom molar coming in. She hates life right now. We made the mistake of letting her sleep with us while sick. Now....we can't seem to get her back in her own bed

DD got 3 of her first molars at once, and the 4th finally cut all the way through. It was while she was sick. I'm hoping that was why sleep sucked ass for the last 3 weeks. Fx it improves! She STTN last night!!!! Too bad the dog woke me at 3:30 to poo. Ha

We had that problem too. Dh would sleep with her in the guest room. Still this morning she stirred at 5:30 and dh asked if he could just bring her in. She slept another hr in our bed.

ldubhawksfan, how do I get her out. She's pretty much STTN since like 6 months. Am I going to have to ST my 17 month old? How does one evern do this with a babe who won't lie down. HALP!

We totally had to do ST again with her this weekend. I feel like every time she is sick we have to train again. She is such a good sleeper normally, but will tack a mile if we give an inch on comforting her back to sleep. She loves falling asleep on us. We did wait until it seemed like she was on the mend though because it seemed mean to let her cry it out when she was sick. It just sucked for us.

ldubhawksfan, how do you deal with the standing up and screaming for hours?
Well my husband punched a hole in the door, so not well. I was so pissed. Usually we tag team better. Luckily she responses decently well to ST and fights it for maybe an hr. I don't know. It sucks.

ldubhawksfan, I just don't know how to deal with it for the first time at 17 months. We haven't had to do it so I don't know how to get her to LAY THE FUCK DOWN when she's pissed off. She just gets increasingly worked up. I wonder if we should suck it up and wait until she's old enough to understand directions.

You may want to look into the sleep lady shuffle. It's a gentler CIO method. I personally have always used Ferber but when you go in to reassure the screaming ramps up until they finally get tired and go to sleep. I prefer to continue to go in just because I need them to know it's ok.

I can relate 100% she is sick so she is back in bed with us. Sucks I get the worst sleep lately.

leviosa, no I don't think so. I'm 18DPIUI and it was a 4 day period jumping from 212 to 2026.
Those betas look good either way.
Those are some nice strong numbers! I've heard there's no direct correlation between betas and multiples... that said, they look an awful lot like mine did
ETA I'm being a total smart ass... I barely remember this part, but I DO remember that my betas were in the realm of normal for multiples OR a singleton
So I mentioned yesterday I was nervous about my dad watching DS. Well he sends me this pic of DS having a nap...in my daughter's bed, instead of in his crib.
First of all, my daughter's room is not baby proofed. So I was picturing DS, rolling out of bed, putting a choking hazard toy in his mouth, then wondering down the hallway and falling down the stairs.
Second of all, you just put a child with pink eye in another child's bed...now I have to wash all her bedding when I get home.
My dad also couldn't find the diaper genie that is right next to the change table and left a used diaper on the floor.
Anyway, it was okay in the end. DS was alive and happy when I got home.

Yeah I had very high betas with just one. Either way, so exciting!!

Eeek! I feel like this kind of stuff always happens when gparents watch the littles. Its never quite right, but at least the kid is well cared for and safe. I remember freaking out at my dad once when he told me he put my DD's bottle in the microwave. I was like plastic in microwave! microwaving bm! uneven heating!

This is helpful and I think we'll try it after the regression crap settles a little. Even without sickness and regression bedtime was starting to take upwards of an hour and that needs to get worked out. I ordered her book and am pretty comfortable with her methodology. Thank you!
