This is the first evening in many that I've sat on the couch and not had to run upstairs to settle E. This is all I want for this weekend when our friends are visiting.
I find it weird that O never asks to try our drinks. We don't have alcohol around him much, but even when we have a glass of juice, he just asks what it is and moves on.
Oh, and plus whatever to not worrying about day to day food intake. I did BLW with O, so it's different, but I feel like he didn't start consuming much until like 9 months. And some days it would be a lot and some days it's not much at all. It's more about exposing them to different foods and tastes and textures right now.

Consider yourself lucky! No matter what I have, B wants a sip. Sometimes if there's just a bit left of juice, etc, I'll tell him he can "finish it". So today he asked if he could finish my Coke at lunch (uh, no!), then tried to negotiate a specific # of sips. 😏
DS was afraid of the birds so we haven't watched it in a long time. The berry/drug sequence is so weird. I feel like they tried to add adult humor here but it just seemed unnecessary. It does have some sweet moments though.

All of this. Also I will say it doesn't change any time soon either. My 2 year old will eat everything in site one day and take 2 bites of pizza the next. I just don't worry about it. She has to take one bite of everything on her plate, we call it a thank you bite to say thank you for making her meal, and then she can eat whatever she wants off her plate.
