Just crawled back into bed...we'll see if baby let's me sleep some more.
He does awesome when we put him down (usually around ten, sleeps until 2-ish.) I feed him, which takes me about an hour, then it takes a little bit to get him back down. But then within an hour or so he's awake. I'm usually up by 5 (6 if I'm lucky) for the day. Today he *might* actually let me go back to sleep.
I know I can't complain. He's a really good baby and I know I'm getting a lot more sleep than other moms. But I love sleep...

We are up. Well me and DS. He tried waking up at 5:30 and after some begging and pleading he went back to sleep in our bed. Getting ready to get in the shower then I may attempt my first solo outing with both kids. We need a bouncer for DD. We lived without one with ds, but it's not possible this time. We also need 826 other random things.
Pumping for the first time with the Spectra. This pump is awesome! To bad I forgot to grab my hands free bra from the house. They are resurfacing the floors today, so no walking in there for the week. Womp, Womp.
Tired Tuesday is right. Jackson is only a week now but he sleeps pretty good chunks at night so far. I think we are back up to birthweight and his bili is going down but I still wake him every 3-3.5 hours. But it takes at least an hour to wake/eat/change.
I want to get out and about but lots of walking hurts my pelvis/perineum :/
Still pregnant over here! Woo...I made Indian food last night, which turned into "is it poop or contractions?". Obviously...poop. 3 days until due date and I'm just accepting that I have a ridiculously comfortable uterus and this baby is never leaving.
My mom took DD1 for the morning so H and I are going to go walk the local outlets to try to get things moving.
Quinstar I have a 3 week old, but the last week or so he has started having longer chunks of awake time. I know it's normal, but some evenings (when we're good and tired) he'll be wide awake for hours. Sometimes I just want him to go to sleep!!

MOTN are always diaper-feed-sleep. I'm not waking a baby to change a diaper after eating. They'll be up again soon enough.
Young babies shouldn't be awake longer than about an hour at a time (under six weeks.) Even up to about 3 months they should only be awake about 2 hours at a time. Do all the things to help them sleep - swaddle, dark, white noise, bounce, RnP, wear them, etc etc. They aren't good at putting themselves to sleep and will get over-stimulated quickly.
I'm a bit of a sleep task master in my house. Babies need sleep! That's when they grow!

Irrationally annoyed at my toddler. As always, he found getting ready every step of the way while baby was still asleep. She woke just as I was sitting down for much needed breakfast. Trying not to drop milk from cereal on her as I eat while nursing.
erinshelley21 amazon prime is your friend! I get shopping outings to get out of the house for sanity sake, but if they don't have what I want, I order from Amazon as soon as I get back to the car. Hell I've been known to order while still in the store!
Pregnant and so very grumpy. DS is pushing all my buttons after a night of very little sleep since I was uncomfortable. I'm fed up with answering questions about my pregnancy, all I want is to hold my little one. I could still have another week or two though and I'm struggling to get through this last part.
Ah so labor may be starting here! Contractions every 3-5 minutes for the past hour. Here's hoping! Waiting to see if it continues but there's a good chance we'll head to the hospital in the next hour if this keeps up since we have to get DS looked after and I'm GBS positive so I need the antibiotics.
