I don't know if other boards have done this but previous boards I've been on will do a daily thread that people can just talk about whatever they want in. Random thoughts essentially. Are we good doing this? Random thoughts I've had today include I've already been a terrible pregnant person. I've had all the diet coke and lunch meat. Also, the bloat is strong today and I had this amazing realization that LulaRoe wasn't a thing last time I was pregnant. I'm so excited about leggings this go around. Leggings and maxis are going to be my jam.

Yes! Randoms are welcome. I was hoping to start other threads as well. I always like WTF Wednesday, TPT Thursday, UOs and FFCs. I also like to add in a grateful day and maybe a board wide check-in?
Just food for thought. (Fried food, it's all I seem to want).

rooskie I've been thinking of you all day. Did you get your repeat bloodwork back?
I'm still waiting. There were a lot of people in the waiting room and my normal tech was out (spring break here) so I'm guessing it will be later in the day today.

sparkymcgee - I've had diet Sprite and had warmed ham on my breakfast sandwich today. I will probably not follow the rules completely. Like, I'm going to eat hotdogs at cook outs this summer.
Also, I wore my LLR leggings to a baby shower Sunday and it was nice. I bought an Azure to wear to work but I think I should have gone up a size. I think I'm going to look at Carly and Julia for this summer too.
rooskie, boooo! I almost had a panic attack yesterday when she didn't call me until 3.
I was going to POAS this morning before I went but I slept through my alarm and woke up late. But considering I haven't been sleeping well I'll take those extra 15 min.

So has anyone told people? I know it's ridiculously early but I told my bff because that girl can lock it down and I told my July13 ladies. They've been with me on the ttc journey and knew how hard this go around was on me.

Yeah quite a few actually. Mostly close friends and family. People who I'd lean on for support anyway.

I'm kind of in the boat that you do what feels right for you. There is no right or wrong time to tell people. Now that said I was very hurt when my brother and SIL didn't telling anyone until 36 weeks but whatever.

I've told one lady at work, but no one else. I wasn't feeling well, and she was worried. I didn't tell anyone at the beginning with DS, and it was so hard feeling like I was keeping such a huge secret.
DS is having a sleepover at his babysitters with his best friend tonight, and he was so excited this morning. I can't wait to find out what 4.5 year olds do at sleepovers

Just my best friend but she knows about my whole history of losses etc. My DD and her DS are a week apart so she is my go to for everything because she gets it and is right there with me. I won't tell anyone else until after 1st tri unless I absolutely have to.

My boss and my HR lady know because we went through IVF. I had to take a bunch of time off for appointments. They were waiting all week last week to hear about betas.
My mom has a huge mouth so we won't tell her until her birthday which is around Memorial Day weekend. After that the whole city will know.

Exact reason my dad will not know for several more weeks.

I hate it! I seriously can't tell her anything. H's parents got in a bad wreck once and I told my mom specifically not to tell anyone (they were ok) and the next weekend my aunt asked H how his parents were doing.
rooskie, my mom is a huge gossip as well. Last time she told the whole family it was girl despite me SPECIFCALLY asking her not to. Then she tried to blame my dad.

Two of my closest friends know, but that's it. I only told them because it makes life easier without having to hide it. I had to go to wine night (and drink water) the day I found out so I knew they were already onto me.
So it was for selfish reasons! We will tell our families at my daughter's birthday in 1.5 weeks. Again, I hate to tell them before going to the doctor, but I can't pass up an in person opportunity to tell everyone at once.
We've told my parents and my best friend. MH had dinner with her husband the day after we found out and told him - so I had to tell her pretty quickly. I would have told her soon anyways, but probably not that soon! MH's family and my brother will find out later, probably after a good u/s, and everyone else after 1st tri. My mom will tell a few people, I'm sure, but no huge deal.
