Dh called and everything was canceled because of the weather. We decided on pizza. He was picking it up and out the window he could see low rotating clouds. He sent me a video of it. Luckily that is west of us.
Took both kids to the pedi today. That was no fun. DS1 went for a follow up hearing test since he failed his right side a month ago. Today he failed the left, then both when she repeated. I think his hearing is fine and he just doesn't understand holding up his hand when he hears the beep. We have to go back in a month to repeat again.
I was talking to DH last night about needing an easy, no or very low cost fundraiser soon. We were brainstorming easy ideas for me to propose to my principal. Cue the fundraiser man. He was at my school today visiting the theater teacher and she gave him my name. He stopped by and we talked about prepackaged popcorn in decorative, reusable containers for $5 to sell to our students. Sold! That was easy.
mnj05, hmmm I wouldn't trust my 4-year-old to hold up his hand. Yah know- I would just ask for a referral to an audiologist since they keep getting inconsistent results. You can "fail" if there's fluid in the middle ear and they can do additional tests for that.

Emergency kept us at work late so kids went to my friends house. Dh went to get them and I said I'd get food. Sushi has a 30 min wait and I got a free cup of tea..... think he'll have them in bed when I get home?? Here is hoping!

Went to a new Mexican restaurant for dinner. Food was..not great, service was not great but their margaritas were good and loaded. Token rands may be lost...

He's never failed at the ENT with the millions I feel like he's had before and after tubes. His ears were clear both times. I really feel it's the misunderstanding part. I'll play one more time then ask for a different type of test or just a trip back to the ENT/audiologist.
Just found out one of the kids at daycare has a stomach virus. I'm freaking out, I do not want to go through that literal shit again. Pass me the Lysol.
My child has yet to sit through an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but just sat and watched 35 minutes of Spaceballs. Mel Brooks > Mickey Mouse apparently.

Thanks for the suggestions for how I can get the toddler some outside time lonegalathome, @wafflesfriendswork, and lovemyirishtwins! Baby girl doesn't always nap in her room, but I managed to put her in there in the swing and she snoozed while we froze outside for a bit.
Waffles, I need to snap a picture of my ring sling attempt - I feel like I'm doing something wrong. It works, but the rings look too close to her, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I need J15 troubleshooting as the only Baby-wearing meet-up near me is an hour away on Sundays - which is a bad time for me.
You can also wrap you tails up, over, and under your ring so if her head is near the rings it is padded. Sometimes I am too lazy and Jack is still floppy enough that he ends up with his head too close to them for comfort. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow if you want me to. @shawnabm132o
