My fffc: I don't shave my legs, I did once or twice when dh and I started dating but my leg hair is so fine and grows so slow no one even realizes that I don't shave, I am going on 6 years without shaving.

I had a craving for a milkshake all week, took one sip and threw it out, it was awful!

I have really fine, thin, blonde-ish leg hair. I can easily get away without shaving for a few weeks, and a lot of times I only shave every like 2-3 weeks.

humble brag I'm just jealous because I have dark, super stiff leg hair that begins to grow back by the end of the day. After 3-4 days I can't take it any longer and am forced to shave.

There are only a couple people who would suspect anything if I was just drinking something non-alcoholic, but 2 of them I don't really want to know yet. The one who will be there and knows is the one struggling with infertility, so I also don't want to announce it at this event and garner any attention, otherwise I might just let the cat out of the bag because I'm too lazy to hide it.

I probably should shave more than I do, but idc anymore. I shave my legs before big events if my dress is short.

I shave my armpits probably every 4-5 days though. I got laser hair removal there a few years ago and it seriously cut down on the amount of growth/the hair is lighter now. I'm insecure about it bc some asshole in 5th grade made fun of me for having hairy armpits.

I shave my legs about twice a year. I could get away with just one if I wasn't so damn pasty white. I'm blonde though so my hair is light and fine. I'll shave an extra time this year, somewhere around my due date. I also get a pedicure around then too. Nothing like your vag being ripped open, might as well have pretty toes to look at in labour.

My legs and underarms get a 5'o'clock shadow. Thick, dark, Italian hair and pasty Irish skin don't mix.

You're definitely not an asshole. When you've been through what we have you know 10 months is just a drop in the bucket. It sucks to feel like the infertile of the infertile ladies (I hope that makes sense)

I tip my hats off to those dealing with infertility. I have a friend who is going on 4 years. And because they believe that God has a plan for them, my heart breaks for them because there are medical options, theyre just not open to pursuing them/

It sucks. Deciding to start treatment is hard, and religion can make it harder. But even with seeing a RE, it still took me over 4.5 years to get to this point.

Yeah bethkate, I'm not even sure that 10 months counts as infertility (unless they've been diagnosed already). I get it. It took us two years, and while it was discouraging, I never thought I had it all that bad, and ultimately, I'm lucky!

@snuff9861, that sucks because you can't even tell them 'just get professional help!' It does seem like religions are becoming more open to reproductive assistance, which is nice, because it has to be worse to not just be infertile, but infertile and feeling religious guilt/shame in addition to all of the other crap feelings!

I finally thought of a good one. Let's take a walk down memory lane ...

In college, I had this roommate who would always complain about everything. One day she was particularly obnoxious and complaining about how she needed money because her mom threatened to not pay for school anymore (blah blah rich kid problems blah blah). She was really irritating me and a commercial for Hooters came on the TV. Very flippantly, I said, "Well, you've got big boobs. Why don't you apply for a job at Hooters?"

She said something in response, I don't know what because I had already tuned out of the whine fest. And then she left the room. She came back in 10 minutes later and said excitedly, "They're hiring!" I'd moved on by this point so I didn't know who "they" was ... It was Hooters. She legit called the local Hooters, asked if they were hiring, etc. Fast forward two weeks, she was working there, wearing three push up bras, and those awful tights. She was miserable every second she was there and it just made her more unbearable. She ended up working there for about 8 months.

FFFC: I got my awful roommate to work at Hooters with an off-hand sarcastic remark and enjoyed every second of her misery. To this day, my best friend thinks I did it on purpose. I swear it was a joke that she just took seriously.

Can you just say that you've had a lot of reflux or heartburn recently and your doctor wants you to lay off booze for a bit?

I just put my almost 3 year old down for a nap because a) he got up at 530 this morning and b) I'm not home for bedtime tonight so i DO NOT CARE if DH has a struggle.
