- So far L is bigger than his giant baby big brother at this age. Will I have an even more giant baby? We'll see how big the littles are in a couple of weeks at their 2m checkup.
All four kids are in daycare and I'm still on leave. It's nice to finally have some time to work on the house and be able to somewhat catch up on sleep I miss overnight.
- No questions or concerns. This is easier the second time.
- No feeding questions. I have to get better with meal planning since our chest freezer died. We no longer have a large reserve of food. The ped said the bigs should be able to eat anything now since they have molars (except obvious choking hazards).
- GTKY: We have nothing planned for Easter. I refuse to take my kids to see the bunny because bunny is creepy.

nomnom, I don't know how you are doing it with 4 kiddos!
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 4.5 months, B/G twins
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Things are going really well right now, finally feeling like I'm getting into a groove with work/daycare
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? I'm not really sure how to start food. Maybe in the evenings before their last bottle? Any advice from working mamas would be appreciated.
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny?
No real plans, aside from what we normally do but I am going to take them to see the Bunny at Bass Pro. It's free!
6 month old girls They go for their 6 month appointment next Monday. They're still super tiny but I'm hoping they've stayed on their growth curve or higher. It seems like they're trying to sit up, although it's still going to be awhile. MOMs of older kids... I am going to sleep again, right? L finally slept really well last night, but A was up every 2 hours. We're still EBF. I started purees last week. They've been been doing well with it although L is more interested. We normally take DD1 to the huge egg hunt in our town. The Easter Bunny will be there and we'll see him if she wants to.

I can't believe I go here now 😳
3 week twin girls / 21 month daughter
The twins had their 2 week checkup yesterday. They're growing great. I had C checked for a lip/tongue tie at an additional appointment today with a LC. She found a slight tongue tie but is confident things will resolve on their own in a couple weeks. Obviously if I want to see an ENT she'd give me the referral. Any thoughts or similar stories?
GTKY: We're taking all the girls to the MoMs Easter egg hunt this weekend. I'm excited to watch DD1 snatch some eggs.

Hey I can participate in this one now!
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 3 weeks, gg
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Nothing until 1 month appt and weight check on 4/10
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Regarding OUBU: E wakes up about every 2-3 hours at night to be fed. H has to be woken up but would give us a longer stretch. At what point did you stop doing OUBU? It seems to me that waking H up when E is up makes more sense otherwise their feeding at night would be staggered and would ultimately equal less sleep for mom and dad. But would it be better to let H sleep and wake us when she's hungry?
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? See above. Also babies are getting slightly better at nursing. However they dribble half of the milk all over themselves. Any tandem position suggestions that might decrease the dribbling? I prefer to football them both for easier head control.
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? We go to both my mom (brunch) and DHs moms (dinner). I would love to take the girls to see the Easter bunny for the sole purpose of cute pictures.
Hi ladies! -how old /combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 6 week old bg
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? 2 month appt on the 11th. I think we finally have some form a routine coming along or at least in my head we do lol
-do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Not at the moment that I can think of
- any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning etc? Do solids get started for preemies at the actual or adjusted age?
-GTKY easter plans, that Saturday we will go to his parents for dinner and Sunday will be going to my mom's so had a big party. I'd like to take the babies to see the bunny but I don't know if we will have time.
requiressnacks, we didn't start solids until closer to 6 months. It took a good while before we got into a good routine with them getting solids nightly. We have just recently phased out their 5pm small bottle since they're eating more solids at that time. My main advice would be not to stress if you guys are having a rough evening and they don't get solids for dinner. You'll get there. Food before 1 is just for fun.
mustloveerica, we did OUBU for the first 10 weeks I think. L would have slept 5+ from the very beginning but needed to gain weight so we woke her when G woke up. Once you're to a point where weight gain isn't as much of a concern try it out. If it goes well, great! If not, you can go back to OUBU.
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 9 mo b/g
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Going well! They did great at their 9 month appt. G was 19 lb, 28 in. L was 18 lb 4 oz, 27.5 in. Both are now crawling machines!! L cut her first teeth, and G has 4 tops coming in. It's been drooly and cranky around here.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Holy shit, the flipping during diaper changes. I give toys. Talk super happily to them. Still they flip, kick, try to crawl away or jump off the changing table. Any tips? This too shall pass?
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? Doing ok here. I have to schedule G an appt with the allergist. He has vomited after the last 2 times he had peanut butter, so I mentioned it to the pedi. No rash or anything so she said it could be an odd happenstance but to get him tested anyway.
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? No bunny. The bunny is creepy. But we are getting spring family pics taken on Sunday. Hopefully they cooperate!
requiressnacks Daycare and acceptance that babies and kids will cry. Also, I have no hobbies besides going to a gym with chilcare on site and my house is a mess.
@feegan It makes me nervous to forego anotger 2-3 weeks of income, but I know a better sale price for our house will more than cover it.

mustloveerica, I did OUBU until I was confident that my good sleeper (DD) could make it until the next feeding, so 6 hours. I want to say it was around the 2 month mark. Also, we were still concerned about weight so at that point I also got cleared to not have them eating every 3 hours.

This is where we are right now - 2 months old and DD2 can go almost 6 hours so I don't wake her. We also aren't concerned about weight gain anymore either.

Agreed. My girls are 7 months and some days they get 2 meals of solids and some days they don't get any. We're doing BLW so we mostly just give them pieces of whatever we're eating to keep it easy and as stress-free as we can.
How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 7 months GG
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Both girls are finally sitting up unassisted well and scooting all over the place. And they both have 2 teeth! Their second ones just popped through the other day.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Nothing at the moment
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? The girls nursed for the last time 2 days before they turned 7 months so we're all formula and some solids now. It took like 2 months to completely wean and have them happy to accept a bottle, even over night.
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? Definitely not seeing the Easter bunny. But we are going to be in laws for Easter weekend.
nic1231 The most important factor for starting solids is not are but readiness signs: sitting upright with good head control, showing interest in food, and losing the tongue-thrust reflex. For term babies that happens around 4-6 months, for preemie it could be later.
pbandj714 I hold both heels together in one hand while I use the other hand to change them. I find that they are much less able to flip over when I am holding their feet above them.
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 7.5 months BG
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Overall it's going well. We've had a lot of stressful life stuff unrelated to babies plus childcare issues plus being sick, but we are past the worst of it. They are at a really fun age and have started really interacting with each other. It's so precious.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? What sort of fun outings and activities do you do with your babies? I need to start getting out of the house more.
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? Nope.
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? We are Jewish, so no Easter, but I am super excited for the babies' first Passover! And to make it extra special we will be meeting my new nephew/their only cousin. :-)
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? B/G- 9 weeks
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? Had their 2 month appt last week. Both are doing good but still small so can't stop supplementing at night yet like I'd hoped. Apparently my pedi wants them to be 12 lbs for that to stop.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Anyone else have to continue supplementing after nursing till a Xxlbs? It's tiring and with me going back to work in 3 weeks I'd like to hhave DH and I get as much sleep as possible.
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc?
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? I think we'll be at my aunts house this year for a brunch. Not even attempting to see bunny. My 3.5 year old is freaked out by Santa so bunny would be a failure as well.

How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 13 months, B/G
How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? It's going well. We're in a great routine that is working for us. Aiden has to have surgery on Wednesday. The doctor is going to remove his tubes, clean his ears, put new tubes in, and then remove his adenoids in his nose. Hopefully that will reduce the amount of mucus draining out of his ears. Anyone else have that done with a kiddo? I'm a little anxious because they will intubate for this surgery.
Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on? Besides Aiden's ears, we're pretty good.
Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? My kids eat like champs. Aiden will eat ANYTHING. And Riley LOVES her veggies. Score.
GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? No special plans. We usually just go to church with DH's family and then have a (huge) lunch and hang out. We won't go out of our way to see a bunny. If there happens to be one where we are and there is no line... possibly. Although Aiden is in the stranger-danger stage... so maybe not. LOL
- How old/combo (gg/bb/bg/etc) are your multiples? 6 month b/g twins
- How's it going, any upcoming Dr Appts or milestones you'd like to discuss? 6 month appointment on Thursday. We'll definitely be asking about all the congestion and coughing and when to call because W's cough sounds awful and Z is constantly congested enough to struggle to breathe at night.
- Do you have any questions or concerns that you'd like advice on?
- Any feeding specific questions regarding nursing, FF, solids, weaning, etc? Solids are going great. They're starting to actually eat the whole foods we hand them and Z has mastered pouches. She sucks them dry in no time. W has yet to figure it out and I'm not sure he really wants to. (We were travelling and using pouches for less mess and fewer things to clean.)
- GTKY: Do you have any special plans for the upcoming Easter holiday? Will you take the kiddos to see the Bunny? We have a neighborhood easter egg hunt on Saturday that we'll take them to. There's usually a professional photographer and a bunny (separate events), so I really want to take them.
requiressnacks, We started solids at 4 months adjusted (almost 5 months) because W was having huge reflux issues and they were developmentally ready. We started on weekends for a couple weeks, then asked daycare to feed them. They now usually get two jars each with them and sometimes solids with our dinner (we're doing a mix of purees and BLW) depending on how things are going. (DC provides everything they eat there)

Your babies must not have he-man hulk strength for flipping! I swear they are just outrageous even with my best efforts to hold their ankles. Putting a cloth diaper on a twisted baby up in the air has become a new talent of mine. Oye.

HeyMrsPotter, I sobbed through my first drop-off, so I don't have many wise words of advice. But, I did do my first drop-off on a day that I didn't actually have to work, so it was nice to be at home and get all my tears out privately. So, to the extent that you have any flexibility, I'd suggest not immediately going to work, or wherever that first day.

The only thing that helps with W's flipping is handing him a bottle. Otherwise, he's all over the place. He's pretty much cleared the entire changing station of stuff from all the flipping.

None of the "strategies" works for my W. She throws anything I hand her, usually at my face. I've resorted to changing her on the floor with my leg over her chest. Godspeed

Ooh, I may have to try that move. It's like yoga...except the opposite of mind-clearing! 😉

+1 to the leg on the chest. Also, thanks for admitting to doing that, I always feel a little guilty, but it's really the only way.

This. We had a blissful week where E was going 6 hours and A every 3. I stopped waking her because I knew she wouldn't wake until I was up again for another feed with A.
Jokes on me, they are back to every 3 hours at night. ðŸ˜

Recently she's started shrieking "No no no!" And sobbing. So I feel awesome about it :/
