I have to share because I have a real doozy. After reading a thread on Parenting that enlightened me, I realized that for the past 3 MONTHS I have been putting DD in her car seat incorrectly. I was putting both her arms AND her legs through the straps. Since I had a C section and couldn't do much at the beginning, I let H figure out how the car seat worked, and then when I was ready to do it myself I just copied him. Oops. Note for the future: always read the manual yourself!
When I was pumping yesterday afternoon after work Emma was playing in the living room. First I let her play with an Ethernet cable and didn't unhook from the pump to take it away from her until she went to put it in her mouth. Then Emma got stuck underneath the Pack N Play. She can army crawl backwards but not forwards so there was no way she was going to be able to get free. I took the time to take a picture before detaching from the pump to go rescue her.
DS: he is starting to sit a bit and we went to a restaurant tonight so sure lets try the high chair. Within 30 seconds he flopped forward and hit his head on the table.
DD 4 1/2 says to me. "Mom, I love alcohol." Me "no, you have never had it". Her "yes, the red stuff in the cup, I love it I want more" me " no its a grown up drink, you haven't had it". Back and forth a couple of times to the point I am thinking OMG, did she really have some?! Finally figured out she had gatorade. Please child, do not repeat this at preschool.

mg0202, unbeknownst to my parents, I once brought a bag full of beer bottle caps for show and tell in kindergarten. I'm sure my parents were pleased with me showcasing their penchant for beer, lol!
