LT for support cagoldi. It's so tough being *that* exhausted. I hope X 'breaks' and passes out soon. Would a car ride help? Vacuum/white noise? You've probably tried everything, just throwing it out there in case.
The rental next door to us just turned over, and the new family showed up tonight. We were out in the yard pso they came over to introduce themselves. Nice as can be, three kids of varying ages who were being sweet to B and loved our dog. We feel like we could be friends with them! DH and I are seriously ticked. We've had this vision of living on a street where people go out to mingle, have a beer, let the kids play. No one on our street really fit the bill. And now here are those people to do that with and we. Are. Leaving.
Like, we're laughing about our bitterness, but we are both kind of mad.
I know I probably sound nuts right now. Seven years til retirement, seven years til retirement...

Gymnastics, then the mall to see the Easter Bunny. I'm going to start a thread for Bunny pictures. We strolled the mall for a few hours, then I dropped Cadence back off at home and went to see Beauty and the Best with a friend. We almost didn't get to see it because I bought tickets for the wrong day. Luckily, they still had seats available.
cagoldi I'm sorry about X. If you think it might be an ei or teeth can you give Tylenol and see if it helps? If it is pain he should sleep better, if it just separation anxiety it should be the no different.
Yeah, I'm never one to shy away from meds if I think he's in pain. But Tylenol and Motrin have made no difference...
I'm sorry for the rough day cagoldi. If you think it's separation anxiety could you lay with him to try and get him to sleep? I hope he crashes hard for you soon.

Pajamas. Are we talking about any age kids? I do occasionally take L out in pjs, but I figure it's ok cause she's a baby? I've taken C a few times for a quick errand if I'm in a hurry. Always shoes though.
I remember when I voted in Nov I took both kids in pjs because I wanted to beat the lines, so they basically went from bed to the car.
wineallthetime babies don't count for me. My babies live in those sleep n plays. Like today is maybe the 10th time B has ever worn pants and a shirt. For me, around a year is when it becomes not ok (I guess around walking age.
Also, I never put babies in shoes. Like S didn't start wearing shoes till he started showing interest in walking, and B never has.
Sleep N plays 4 life for babies. Especially for daycare. J only wears PJs out for pajama day, but will wear them around the apartment for lazy days until we are going somewhere.
No babies shoes required until it's weather appropriate.
It's going to be a long day. I ended up heading to the guest room last night after DH was coughing and sneezing, blowing his nose extremely loud, etc. and made a comment implying he hadn't taken anything, and had no intention of doing so. Plus the TV being on drives me nuts. I finally fell asleep and Chase woke up and screamed on and off for almost an hour. And after I barely slept, DH got pissy with Colin immediately - basically he's losing his "me time" because Colin is getting up early. That's his excuse for being so grumpy with him, because Col is just being Col, not being bad or anything. Chase at least is off my list - I found him spooning his Chase doll in the crib this morning, which may have been the cutest thing ever.
I wish DH would just take a few hours and go somewhere - anywhere - and chill out. He is driving me nuts.
C slept past 8 so I got to sleep in, too. She's normally up bn 6-7 so that extra time was nice.
We are heading to church this morning and tonight have dinner reservations for our anniversary. Not sure what we'll do in between...I *should* start packing some boxes but will probably take the kids' over to see my sister/BIL before they head back to SC.
Morning! We're lounging around. Debating if we'll go to church or not. H has round 2 of this stomach bug. He vomited twice yesterday and had a blow out but seems fine this morning. I'm not sure what his deal is.
My nephew stayed over and had slumber party with n. These two are the cutest besties I've ever seen.
We got home after they were asleep and I had to get a picture. PDQ. I'll poof in a bit
I hope you enjoyed the party last night mwhipple77.
I hope X had a better night last night and you all got sleep. cagoldi
I'm the only one up at the moment. I woke up starving, so oatmeal and coffee for me. I am a bottomless pit these days. Give me all the food. It would be nice to actually be full and satisfied for more than and hour after a meal.
It rained like crazy this morning, but now the sky has cleared and its nice and sunny. Mh went to get a haircut and then will be picking up lunch. After lunch he's taking Cadence to his parents so I'll have a couple hours all to myself. I love Pa and Nena days.
We went for a long walk on the trail - well, long for Colin anyhow! I had wanted to go but I was afraid DH would push back because of baseball on TV, but he actually suggested we go after grocery shopping. feel less grumpy now, so it apparently did the trick.
Also Colin has used the potty 5 times already today, including once at the grocery store when he asked to go. Even DH has to admit he's been good.
