Everybody needs to stop having scary things happen and I hope everybody who's looking at induction goes into labor naturally- and have smooth and safe deliveries!
Ah okay, sorry if you posted about this before. Well I hope they move up your induction this Friday too, if that's what you want! Can't believe it's finally happening for this BMB! Babies are coming!

nic1231 is the only April mama to have a boy so far, right- one of her twins is a boy I think? I think we're due to get more boys soon. I know ourcrazynavylife is team blue, don't remember anyone else?
I'm betting my team green turns team blue, but literally EVERYONE else says it's a girl.
ETA: Just remembered hpnegirl is team blue, too. Who else?

mosdub, aaaah, sorry! I'm sure I knew that at some point. I also have siggys turned off since I'm on at work most of the time so I'm sure I miss a lot.

This kid is putting a lot of pressure on my cervix today. I do not appreciate this. DS1 never did that, but he also wasn't engaged at this point, either. I'm looking forward to the 17th, which is when we're setting a final eviction date. I'm holding out hope for a membrane strip on the 24th..

I don't mind repeating myself. I put brain spacing but it's really brain sparing.

Meh, I found it uncomfortable when I had one with DS1 but not painful. However, cervix checks weren't painful for me either. It's one of those things that will either work or won't. It took 4ish days to work for me
I think the gentleness and the size of the hand doing it has a lot to do with it. My OB was really good about being as gentle as possible

I want to go in tomorrow for a membrane strip and not Friday. Especially if it takes 3-4 days. I know this is awful but I don't want my kid to be born on Monday.

@osw just my experience, both my membrane strips (they did it twice with DD) were incredibly painful and I like to think I've got a pretty good pain threshold. She was born 1.5 days after my initial sweep and it was about 20 hours after the second one.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but it may not work at all.. it either does or doesn't

This is why I'd love for them to do it both Wednesday and Friday.

How did you feel about cervical checks? Mine wasn't bad last Wednesday...
I had a S&S with DS1 and it did nothing but be painful. Buuuuut in saying that I was super tense and stressed which I've read can mess up the effectiveness. I'm having one on Monday to see if it does any good.
