@betweenthelines, I did order the tummy tea. I should get it soon. I am going to start the tummy tea and then the challenge - hoping to drop 15 pounds just to start!
If i see results from the tea, I might continue to use it every month.
The douche h wasn't there today so it was just a nice time. W came home and passed out and then woke up and napped on my chest with Molly cuddled up under the covers next to me. And the rain outside. We were super snuggly. Today is h's Friday because he took my birthday off and I'm so excited. I have no idea what we're doing for my birthday but I definitely plan on sleeping in. That's as far as I've made it in planning.
Made it to my conference in BFE last night. King size bed to myself with no interruptions. Still up at 4:30. Wtf.
I'm enjoying the presentations I chose to go to. Food's way too fucking healthy for my liking though. Lunch was seriously salad and bread. With cheesecake.
Planning to drink a beer later. Half of it and I'll be drunk. It's really sad. I need to drink more.
Not wrong at all but h is weird about there not being a completely sober adult with w. I used to not even be able to take my sleeping pills if he was working late. Soooo before I can have a beer he and I would need to discuss it and decide if that's okay with us. This makes him sound super controlling but it's something we decided before we had kids and before he started coming home at 7 or later.

A is still crying at swim but upped it a level by trying to bite the teacher several times. Fucking biting. My kids have never been biters. Are you f'ing kidding me? I am so embarrassed.
I told the teacher to dunk her when she tried to and when she was pulling her hair.

All the wine.
B is a biter now too. Broke skin on his brother the other day in the tub. Some stages are redonkulous. Drink lots of wine.

I toured two daycares late in the afternoon, and was surprised that at each of them, there was one of P's former teachers employed! Her two favorite teachers that we had been really upset about leaving. Both places are also less expensive than her current daycare, and I think they both have a spot for her.
So, I think we are going to pull her from her current daycare and put her into one of these, but not sure which one.
One is super convenient- down the block from us, and it is about 600 less than we currently pay; it will be about 800 less once she's 2 and potty trained. But it's not as nice. But seems safe and like a loving environment. And they aren't slumming it— there's music and yoga and art, etc.
The other is about a mile walk (which is what we do now) and is pretty fancy, using an Emilio Reggio approach. It's 300 less than we pay now.
Neither has an outdoor space (which is typical for NYC), and so both rely on local parks, but the second place is only one block from the park, no street crossing. The first place is maybe a five minute walk from a park, but there are a number of streets to cross.
th3stryck3r M's daycare is an older building, but he loves the people there and they obviously love him. I would say don't let the look of the place factor in the decision.

th3stryck3r I say go with your gut on the place. Both sound reasonable. Do you have any way to get references or check online reviews for either place?
