runningmommy519 do you have an EPA with your insurance? They can often assist you in finding low cost care. Even if you can just swing a few sessions it might help. Hugs.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Sadly, I think H makes enough that we probably wouldn't qualify. It's just we have a lot of debt.
In my case it wasn't an income reason they gave me a sliding scale it was because my insurance sucked. A lot of places will do sliding scale /self pay discounts if or not to deal with insurance and make sure people in need get the help they need.
H and I decided we'd both wake up early to make our days better. He took care of w (in bouncer while he got ready) while I cleaned the kitchen, took care of Molly, did my hair, and drank coffee. Then we all ate breakfast together. I'm headed to the library this morning for story time and to meet up with some mom friends. Then headed to the store this afternoon. I'm meal planning right now while W nurses.
Aw: Excuse the dirty mirror but I like the way I look today and I almost completely fit in these size 12s!! The button fly still doesn't lay completely flat but you can't tell when I wear a tunic with it. Also, w is playing with shampoo bottles not the toilet. PDQ I'll probably delete within the hour.
We are having a huge storm here guys. W and I are watching the lighting and thunder out the window but my dog is not excited about it. She's curled up next to my legs.
we had bad storms yesterday afternoon - not on the same scale as the rest of the southeast getting hit but some tress were knocked down and some lawn stuff knocked over.
I have never seen Trolls but I just found out that one of the Trolls is named Poppy because another mom asked me if I was mad hat that movie had come out after I already had P. I think I just looked at her quizzically.
I have a feeling we aren't going to get off the wait list for the Y daycare, but it seems like once P is 2, some other places will be options. I just hope we haven't waited too long to get her on the lists. I am doing some major research this week and weekend and calling some places. The $$$ we pay now is just going to be hard to sustain for another year and a half. Plus, at the end of this year, the subway line near P's current place will be out of commission for over a year, so getting her there and then getting to work will be extra difficult.
