Thanks, ladies Lots of mixed emotions for sure. And I don't want to take anything away from DH -- no matter what he says, I know he enjoyed telling his mom -- but it can be hard not to feel jealous and sad.

mimi a giant jetted tub sounds like bliss. We're going to visit my sibs back home some time in May, and I'm reeeeeally hoping we get to stay at the airbnb that has one of those. I mean it's 2 blocks away from my sister, so win-win, right?

I'm over work today. I busted my tail to get two reports completed this morning, thinking that we might end up getting an early dismissal. Well, one tornado warning and a current severe thunderstorm warning and we are still at work. And the weather is supposed to be worse Wednesday. Sigh.
IUI 1-3 BFN IVF #1 - Oct '15 - 10R, 3M, 0F IVF #2 - August 16 - 12R, 11M, 5F. 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze - BFP!! - MMC caught at 7w5d FET #1 - 1/26 - BFP, due 10/14
Also I have a free bagel every day this month at Panera, which seems to be coinciding with the return of my appetite (FX!)
I have this too!! God bless Panera. Free bagel month is the best, way cooler than $2 off a smoothie or someshit.
A few of my friends have had free bagel month, but I was starting to think they'd never give me one bc a couple years ago I had a free coffee month, and I am a cheapskate with no shame so I took my free coffee every day with no additional pastry purchases, tyvm. Lol.
Shit doesn't always just happen. L: arrived 5.23.13 at 34 weeks with gastroschisis. 131 days in the NICU; short bowel syndrome, g-tube, home TPN; 11 surgeries. Line-free since 12.28.16! Blog

Oh girl, there is NO shame in my free stuff game. Especially when you consider the cost of eating (aka earning rewards) at Panera.

Y'all got me thinking...I haven't had any freebies from Panera in a while!

mimiCythe How does this happen? Or more appropriately, how can I make it happen to me?
It's via their rewards program, and I think it's just kind of random - although I imagine if you never swipe your rewards card, they're not going to give you a month of freebies.

Just sign up for a My Panera card. It's free and you just swipe it every time you eat there. I think* it's # of visits that you get free stuff but I'm not sure how many it is. It's not a lot.

ssm amended returns are the worst. Too much to hope you're paying less now?
We did our taxes yesterday. Ouch.
i better not have to pay anything ! :-| We have a small business. And I didn't check a record, just went off memory. But I got a notice saying something was incorrect. A little digging? I put info on our business taxes that should have been on our personal, not the business. :-( 👎🏻

Apparently I need to use my Panera rewards card more. I need a free bagel month.
It's been a fairly productive day here. After chatting with my mom for an hour this morning, I managed to get a load of laundry done and the dishwasher loaded. Then I took DS on an Aldi run and grabbed all the things I'd been craving today. Specifically egg rolls. They were mostly satisfying, but not the best. Now that DS is down for nap it's time to get a workout in, shower, then leave for work once H gets home.
@moonandback141 a peep oreo? that sounds dreadful. Just like those candy corn m&ms... thanks, no thanks.
Cythe there isn't a panera anywhere near my home or along my commute, so I won't be getting free anything. Largest of sighs. Get ta cinnamon crunch for me one day.
I want free bagels! But I don't have an easily accessible Panera.
I'm leaving for Australia on Thursday. I feel like I have sooo much to do before then but all I want to do is nap.
Girl this was me before Ireland. I had 1k things to do and did none of them except pack.
Haha well part of my problem is we have friends visiting from another country while we are gone and we offered our house for them to stay at. So the day we leave I need to change all the sheets, and make sure the house is presentable and all that jazz. And then just all the last minute stuff that pops up before vacay.
It will be okay. It will be okay. It will be okay.
