We all slept wonderfully last night, so I'm feeling much better today. Church ladies lunch today, and then I'm trying to convince myself to go to yoga at the studio this evening. I've been getting back into my home practice and I am more out of shape than I wanted to admit. Oh well. Back on the wagon now!
good morning! currently googling local driving classes. i had our au pair drive us to the grocery store yesterday (she has an international license, which is good in TX for 3 months), and it is clear that we need to get her in some kind of class. i don't think she's a bad driver, but she's very timid and has never driven an automatic. to me it seems so much easier, but i can see how it would take some getting used to. just not sure if we need to do a full class, or a little bit of supervised driving time.
i have a dr appt tomorrow and can't wait to see baby wiggling around. then finally taking DD to her 2 year appt on friday, and i'm hoping to take the day off and get some good time with her. so i'm kind of looking forward to this week! we also have a hospital tour on saturday, and sunday i think DD and i will head to dallas to see my parents and so i can see a few clients there next week.
Last night I went to get a bikini wax since we are leaving for our trip to Mexico this week. The last time I did this was when we went on our honeymoon in 2010.
Omg. I was screaming and swearing me head off. I don't know how people do this!
mishka29 it's really painful after some time off! haha. i've been waxing since like 2005, and for me the key is the hard wax. if i try to go to a place that uses the normal wax with cloth strips i DIE.
Back to a normal day today. We got a new area rug yesterday for the family room. I did a lot of research and looking around but I don't think I like it. Maybe some room accents to match the rug more with help. Or just some time. FWP.
My nephew got off the IV last night and is doing well. They are supposed to go home today.

The wax was hot and there were cloth strips. Other than that I'm clueless. I do recall saying that childbirth with no epidural hurt less lol
mishka29 next time you need a wax, look for a place that doesn't use the strips. the best wax is still hot, but it hardens on your skin and the actual wax gets pulled off with the hair, no cloth strips involved. it's far less painful IMO. and some advil or tylenol 30 mins before.
dreemkin glad to hear he's doing well! i hate rug shopping - it always takes me so long to really like one.
