sanibel21, I have one of those mesh feeders, but unsure what to put in it. smallpotato Let's start a thread. We're thinking of going either this fall or next May. It's more for us than DS if I'm being honest. fem FX'd all appointments go well.
I just did a ripe piece of pear. I don't even think any substance came out, just the taste. I think I did banana with dd1 and it was a pain to clean. I think anything super ripe or even steamed a little would be good.
Now I remember why I'm so unproductive most days. When I do try and get stuff done and "ignore" the kids, it just results in lots of crying and frustration. Both kids are being clingy and whiny. I just want to accomplish something! Entertain yourselves for 5 minutes please!
Oh man you described my day today too! So glad I'm not the only one. So frustrating.
My OB took a long time to talk to me about risks vs. benefits and we decided to try Zoloft and see if that helps.
My husband picked it up for me and the pharmacist said he wasn't crazy about breastfeeding and taking it. sanibel21 that's what you're on right? I know you've researched some, what did you find? All I found was not a lot of data, and it's an L2 category so 'safer'
That is what I am on. And I know a couple others here are too. For research I found no severe immediate adverse effects, but that there's not a lot of long term research. I don't know if it's was coincidence or not, but dd2 did have rough nights a couple nights after I started and then a couple nights after I increased my dose. But sleep is crap so who really knows. The first two days I personally felt out of it and the second night I had insomnia, but I am glad I pushed through that because I have felt definite inprovement.
@kitchen New England here and I love it because of beach communities, lots of good travel locations within a couple hours, major city within a couple hours. But drawbacks are its expensive and cold with snow in the winter. I loved Portland OR on our road trip! I think it rains a lot there though? I thought Boise Idaho was very cool. That's where we stopped and I called my mom and told her to send me my stuff because I was in love with it.
As if on cue, dd1 has turned into a threenager. Like serious verbal attitude preceding the toddler tantrums. So that's been great fun. Despite lots of moans and groans and cries and whines, I did get a lot done around the house. Now just to stop feeling guilty that I ignored my days most of the day.

3 has been extremely challenging for us. But she also had a new baby added plus my mom passing away. Whatever it is she is a handful lately.
Thanks for the post about the Zoloft info. Is there any benefit to when you take it? She just said when I'll go the longest without nursing so I was thinking taking it when she fell asleep for the night. DH is actually on it too and he said it made him nauseous for a while.

I've only ever taken it in the morning. It does make me a little sleepy. I have considered taking it at night because I've heard some people take it at night but I just haven't tried it yet. If you do let me know how it goes.

Just took it so I'll update in a few days!
Good luck! I hope it helps. Feel free to pm me if you wanna chat about how it's working or making you feel.
DD2 is getting worse and worse going down to bed at night. Up more and more overnight again. I felt like we weren't getting anywhere with sleep training, just developing other problems, so I went back to all the bad habits. And of course, for like 2 nights, it was actually fine. Now it's a mess again. And DH can't get her down to save his life.
