So....this happened.
So I'm trying to give DS a bath, quickly because he hates it and cries. DD2 comes in and starts splashing in the water and I let her because she's occupied so whatever. Suddenly I see green water creeping over my arm and realize she's not splashing in the water, she's stirring the water with a cap-less green marker. 😣 Had to whip him out of the bath before he got tinged green.
This kid is a disaster. Everything she does is like the over the top movie version of what it means to be a toddler. DD1 was far too easy. I'm laughing now, but in the moment of screaming bath time, was not amused.

kensie5226 that's not fun. I remember laying on the floor with my eyes closed while the kids played around me until I couldn't even be a parent anymore. Dilectin was my rock. Finally felt better around 16 weeks I think.

DD2 has figured out how to pull the outlet covers out at her gym class so that has been fun. Yesterday as she was going for them I told her no. She stood in front of it with her hand out, shakes her head and says no..... Then proceeds to try and pull it out anyways. At least she's cute.

Did you have bad MS w your DD kensie5226? My nausea was definitely amplified w my 2nd pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon. I rode it out w crackers, ginger ale and ramen.
yummeecookee, I did have it bad with E. It has started about a week earlier than it did last time, but it's about the same intensity. It does usually mellow out a little in the evening. It's bad from when I wake up until about 1-2pm.

Ugh mine has learned she can get on my kitchen chairs...which proceeds to me finding her on the kitchen table 3 times yesterday. It is an obsession now. It would be fine if she would SIT on chair but she stands up and when we tell her to SIT she looks at us and just laughs

We are in a LOT of trouble.
DD has been climbing on chairs for a few weeks and has tumbled at least once. Seriously not even 30 seconds of peace!

C has been a little pill since he got home from DC. Repeated meltdowns, nothing making him happy. I took a look in his mouth and saw he's just got the tiniest pinpoint of another molar coming through.

We went through this a while ago. Turns out MIL was very animated/funny when she said no. I am not. Sharp, pointed "no" helped.
Talk to me about baby proofing. How baby proofed is your place?
We are moving at the end of the month. There is a couple spots on the ground floor of the house where it goes down just two steps (to go to the bathroom, and to go to the side door). I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble of putting a baby gate in those spots, as the baby gates won't be that useful in a few months anyway.

samelly, the most babyproofing we did is electric covers and door knob covers. C can climb up the stairs but he doesn't randomly try to go upstairs for no reason. If we're downstairs then that's where he wants to be, so I didn't put a gate there. I also didn't put a gate at the top of the stairs bc similarly, he doesn't try to go down on his own.

I probably wouldn't for just two steps, adding yours is familiar with steps

We had to put up baby gates in our living room because of our cats. The litter box in downstairs and we have to keep the door open to the basement for them. If it wasn't a rental I would just add a little doggie door for them since she is pretty good at not getting into too much trouble. Maybe just give it a few days of seeing how it goes and decide from there.

ldubhawksfan I think I heard when I bought my LifeProof case that if anything does happen to the phone it's covered by LifeProof if you need to buy another one. I've never had to follow through on that, but I was told that when I bought mine.
samelly were limited on baby proofing. We don't even have outlet covers because DD2 has decided the outlets are more exciting with them so we took them out and now she's better about ignoring them. I have a baby gate going to the stairs upstairs but it's rarely ever closed. The only thing I need daily is the things that keep her out of the cupboards.
I remember the birth stories being pretty dramatic, it sounds like the N15s still have attitude and drama.
samelly, the only baby proofing I have are outlet plugs, the tv in the living room is strapped to the wall, and baby gates at the stairs. One bathroom has cabinet locks. I have taught my kids not to go in the cabinets in the kitchen. I also keep all chemicals up and out of the kitchen so nothing under the sink is dangerous. It takes a lot of work but I just couldn't get them on the cabinets and my DH kept telling me he didn't have the time so it was the only alternative.

I vaguely remember that too. Luckily I restarted and it seems to be working again.

samelly we have outlet covers, cabinet locks over the ones with cleaners, and gates. We only have 6 stairs but DD2 is all about climbing them so if it's open, she's gone. With DD1, we never had them at the bottom.

We have cabinet locks in kitchen because my kids is onto everything and I have outlet covers in her room. Also a gate at bottom and top of stairs because if we forget to close one she would play all day on there. She clearly loves danger.
