@justinslovo I don't see that as a problem - she needs the chill time but probably can't do it on her own yet, so "asks" by acting out so you do it for her.
Speaking of accidents...this morning I was carrying A down the stairs and my left foot turned in as I was stepping down. I felt myself going forward, so instinctively I threw myself back and into the wall (which is better than the alternative, but we have textured walls and my arm/back of hand now is littered with road/wall rash) Thankfully A was unharmed in anyway and only cried when H took her from my arms. I have no time to take off of work, so I'm over here gimping around. Of course it happened on the morning before 2 12 hour shifts and of course I can't take ibuprofen. Good thing I had access to ace wraps. Next time A is going to "cooch"down the stairs.
Ugh. Is this for moving from one place to another or twice (didn't you say you were having to do that?)?
It's for the total--moving from this house to storage then storage to new house. I'm hoping they are way overestimating the time needed...We've done a lot of the boxes and small stuff ourselves and will continue to do that over the next week. There are a few fees (travel, furniture pads), but most of the cost is hourly. If we really minimize what they have to do, it will wind up a lot cheaper.
If it makes you feel any better, we paid about $4800 for movers from our 1-bedroom to storage, one month of storage, and then a moved to our house, total distance of about 100 miles. So $2K sounds good to me. We paid for them to pack, but that only added $300 which was worth every penny!!
So when Kolby wakes up crying real tears and screaming at nap time (bad dream?) I let him finish the nap in my lap. Well it has been bad lately and this afternoon it was only a half hour. I already work at night every single night to get caught up on grading etc but I depend on nap time for class prep. I don't know how to fix this. If I don't let him finish it on my lap he's awake and still no work done. He's too big for me to transfer him without waking him. Any suggestions?

jnetx we got a uhaul and hired help from thumbtack. They were about $300 and were done so fast. They are insured too, so less worry if they break your stuff or get hurt. Those poor guys carried a full gun safe up our stairs.
Chicken dinner FTW tonight! I have been craving roasted chicken and mashed potatoes for weeks and A's meltdown leading to her throwing up led to me staying home means I get to make a big dinner!

yl I'm so glad you liked it!! I was worried it might be dark and you wouldn't see the animals. I've eaten there twice and aware I had to unbuckle my pants to fit all the goodness in!
W has been a cranky monster all day. H left for work early. He should have been home at 430. It's 530 and he just left (it's a half hour drive). Are you kidding me?!

We made it home! The boys both woke at 6am and barely slept in the car. They had meltdowns at 5pm and insisted on going to bed. It's now 7pm and I have two wide awake boys. Lovely. Mac is sick with whatever I had this weekend and Hunter seems to be starting with it. This is the worst!
I am so tired today. I slept all night so I don't know why I'm so tired. My kids at school are crazy and think there's nothing left to learn since they took their state test. Some will have a rude awakening when they find out they have to retest because they failed the first one.
My random today - my feet are terribly dry. I need something to hydrate them without a greasy feeling. I have something (starts with a K) that I use sometimes over night but I get hot with socks on and it's too greasy. Any suggestions?

Our reservation was at 6:45, but we showed up at 5 when they opened and they sat us right down!
