I hope V feels better soon! Maybe call the ENT in the AM and see if you can get squeezed in. A lot of times they will have cancellations and things open up.
We are also in the midst of ear infections with P. We took her to urgent care Saturday for an earache. No fevers. They said they saw fluid, but no redness, so probably not an infection or anything. They have us abx of course anyways.
Well I decided to just treat with Tylenol and sudafed. She seemed to be doing better until today. She woke up last night with more ear pain and was complaining of the same thus morning. I of course thought she was milking it to stay home with me so I gave her Tylenol and sent her to school. After school she was a mess. She wound up with a high fever and now both ears hurt and are visibly red. I'm not taking her back in, but I did have H pick up the abx on the way home. I feel bad because I feel like this all would have been prevented if I'd just given them to her in the first place.
Tldr P has an ear infection too and nurses aren't good at nursing their own kids.
OMG 360blessings...I'm sorry, but I am laughing so hard I am tearing up. I'm sorry he was so unhappy, but that picture is so hilarious I can't even handle it.
kristhegirl solidarity, sister. I'm too tired to even type a good response, but being in newborn mode is freaking hard and my h also sucks right now. I tried telling him he needs to pick up where I can't keep up, and his response was "oh, so you're saying I don't do anything?" My (temporary) motto is "go along to get along," because I have no energy to spare on fighting. I just text him to do lists and let him know they are mandatory, lol.
360blessings I feel like Noah is all of us at the DMV/passport place. Lookin stylin' in line and then BOOM, crazy pants mug shot type picture. He is seriously the cutest though.
R's day care had a Spring/Easter festival today, which was adorable. (They seriously have the best programming. I love this place.) The music teacher said R is his biggest fan, which was obvious because R stood next to the guy's keyboard and danced. I was excited to take him into the petting zoo, but he cried the whole time and wouldn't even look at the animals. I was so sad...I love animals, and he was getting so upset over a tiny baby goat.
Nice. I run out of explanations pretty quickly. Maybe if I didn't have to explain why a million times a day to teenagers, I could be quicker. This stage lasts for pretty much ever right? Ugh.
D is only 3.5, so I don't know when it will end. I can handle like 4 in a row before I say "Because it just is!"
Back when I was a perfect parent (you know, 8 years ago before DS1 was born), I always swore I would NEVER say that. Yeah, lol.
My boys aren't as bad as they used to be, but I think it's mainly because they understand more in depth now than they did when they were younger. I've also been known to just tell my oldest to go find a book and figure it out himself
ashiscute no girls. My mom and I are just going to head up to Kenwood to shop and maybe have lunch with my brother and SIL. I need to plan a trip up with the girls again though! It was fun when we met up before!
