I swear I work with teenagers. Not adults. The kitchen and their work areas are always a disaster. Every time I walk through their space I grab 20 paperclips and rubber bands and tiny pieces of paper off the floor and throw them away. And they leave their empty but dirty food containers in the fridge. For weeks. I just washed 8 of them. And I just threw away a box of left over cookies from 3 weeks ago when we had that open house. Can no one else see this stuff? Only me?
You just described every office I've ever worked in.
Truth! Everyone is pretty convinced someone else will clean up after them....and you're proving them right...
Tell her to get over here to TCF so other strangers can be excited with her!
I loooove this place, it's a bit of a safe haven for me, so I don't tell people what board I'm on... I do not want people reading what I write and share here, is that weird?
I feel the same way. I wanted to suggest it for my friend who fostered to adopt, but I like the anonymity here of not having my people be able to find me!
Truthfully, my friends don't even know I'm on a board at all! I only recently told MH about it, but only vague information - like there's a board of all moms who had their babies around the same time as us that I read and get info from and can ask questions to. I had to b/c sometimes I'll tell him some advice from you guys and he'd ask where I heard it.
@peachsmama that literally made me cringe! Ick, old food grosses me out more than anything, especially strangers! Do is notorious for putting leftovers in our fridge and forgetting, and I'm notorious for just throwing out Tupperware containers because I can't stand to even open them, let alone clean them!
Nothing much going on here today. Lucas has speech and then I have to clean my whole house and figure out where we are going to have 5 extra people sleep for ten days when my sister and her family come tomorrow!
@peachsmama, lfigge, I know you 2 were both dealing with non potty trained 3 y/o. Anyone else? I feel so stressed... like we're never going to get there.
I took vinolove idea (I think it was her) about the potty watch but used his vtech smart watch. I set it this weekend for every 40 minutes and made him sit on the potty each time. He peed 1 time. Every other time he said, "I tried, but no pee came out!".
I feel like it's never going to happen! I don't understand it.
Of course, I asked DC to keep going everytime the timer onhis watch went off. Monday they put him on the potty 3 times and yesterday 1 time. When I asked the teacher this morning, she said he never came to her. What??? She's the teacher? He's the kid!
73jewels not PT. Haven't even started trying beyond sitting on the toilet before bed, and he sometimes goes a little. He sits at school multiple times a day and never goes. He says he will, "just not today". It's low on the priority list right now, he will figure it out eventually.
omg. This video just popped up on facebook of this tool that removes blackheads. So disgusting but so satisfying to watch. I can't look away. And I want it.

I'm gonna need to see that. And does it really work?

Hi, twin. I hate old, cold food. Always have. So gross. DH cleans the fridge out, bless him, and he will wash Tupperware bc I really will pitch it otherwise.
Okay since we're talking about blackheads and stuff... this might be TMI but, dd like to scratch, pinch, push my boobs while nursing. As a result the skin surrounding my breast is in rough shape, ideas or tips?
Clip her nails and use lotion on your skin.
Sorry A has chicken pox, I hope he gets over it quickly and without much pain. They say it's less painful in kids.

kim22 you can do it!! You deserve some adult fine and your kids will be fine! Enjoy it! And I'd say float dress and cute flats for a winery tour. Cute but comfortable and not restrictive!
nam2013 sorry about the chickenpox! Weird that they don't have the vaccine over there. But I'm not sure when it became common here? I had the chicken pox as a kid and literally have 0 memory of it!
@peachsmama I have to thank you because I believe it was your idea. Speaking of friends not knowing about the board, when I told my friends I was doing BBM, they wanted to know how I knew about it. I just say I read a lot, which is true.
