I'm home today because of the weather. Took my time making/eating breakfast and now I'm sipping my coffee and watching the news. Because it's 8am and my toddler is still asleep. 🤔

thatgirlrachel, a toddler sleeping until 8? Do you also have a pet unicorn? I'm jealous.
We had a little scare the last two days. Most of my symptoms went away. I only got up once last night to pee (vs. my normal 5 or 6) and all my normal jeans fit again, no bloat anymore. And I don't feel as tired. So we were freaking and I was trying to get into the OB for a doppler check for reassurance when we remembered we have a dopper. DH found the HB in two minutes flat. Nice and fast. So hopefully we're good until Friday at least. F'ing PGAL brain. I guess I need to enjoy this symptom reprieve while it lasts.

bootsorhearts So weird you say all that, we are on vacation far away from my Doppler , I hit 14 Weeks a few days ago and since then it seems like my symptoms have gone away also (same as you, loss of bloat peeing less), I'm sure everything is fine but I'm kinda dying to get home to my Doppler! (PGAL brain) .. I know you get energy and things get better into your 2nd trimester but it also makes me nervous!

bootsorhearts, she made it until 8:30! I was just getting ready to go in and check on her when I saw her move on the monitor. This actually isn't too uncommon on the weekends but she is usually up by 7:30 on her own during the week.
Also, sorry for the scare but glad your H found the HB!
NariaDreaming, sorry the another bleed. I'm mad at your cervix for you.

I have such envy over your toddler sleep. Mine gets up at 5:45am. Every. Day.

It's going to be a kick ass (weather) day today. I unrolled a new yoga mat last night and it smells like pure and utter.... industrial rubber so that thing is leaving my house until it learns it's lesson.
About to go make me some breakfast and determined it's going to be a good day.

Wide awake at 3AM today. I've also officially transitioned from the "nauseous all day" stage to the "omg if I dont eat now I'm going to puke" stage. Not sure which is worse.
I feel you on this. I'm in the stage you're at now, and add in "and if I eat even a BIT too much, I'm vomiting." It's like balancing on a knife edge.

My toddler is my sleep nemesis. He slept in until just after 8 today, but that was after i got up with him 5 times and DH got up with him twice. I feel like some kind of zombie.

Still recovering from my bout of the flu on Monday. I need to decide what to eat since my appetite has returned but I don't want to eat anything too crazy on a fairly empty stomach.
We are doing a little birthday thing for DD, I have zero energy from this pregnancy to plan a party so we are just having my parents and siblings and his parents over and ordering some food in. My sister is going to make a cake. I kind of feel bad but at the same time she's two and will be happy with a couple of balloons and cake. I can't believe my little baby will be turning 2 soon!
NariaDreaming, sorry to hear about the bleed. Hope you have a good day today.
DS's eczema has gotten worse. Took him to the doctor yesterday to get a referral to an allergist. Switching up all of our soaps and detergents. Just want him to feel better.
I had an endocrinologist appointment this morning. TSH and antibodies were a bit off, so medication was adjusted. But guys, they build a WAWA around the corner from the doctor's office. Totally made my day!
NariaDreaming, sorry about the bleeding but glad you're doing ok!
augustblooms glad you're feeling better! Don't feel bad about the party, I've done that with each of my girls and they had a wonderful time. Cake and gifts and family and they were over the moon.

I walked into the break room at work this morning and there was long line at the coffee machine. Some girl's eyes went straight to my belly. I'm showing so much earlier this time, I cannot believe it.
I'm planning to tell my boss Friday and my coworkers on Monday. I don't think I can hide it any longer.
@moonandback141, thanks for the tips! I got the CeraVe baby shampoo and wash for eczema. If that doesn't work, I'll do Cetaphil. Aquaphor has worked for us in the past, but not recently. We got an RX for a cortisone cream, hopefully that will clear things up so we can go back to the Aquaphor.

Hope your DS improves! My DD1 had eczema and we had great success with going to perfume and dye free products throughout the house.
blackmamba ah yes we've got the rx stuff too (triamcinolone (sp?)). It is super effective but I hate how once we stop using it, it just comes back! And I hate to get in that constant regular use of topical steroids cycle.
Agreed! I'm really hoping we can clear it up and then stick with something without steroids. I'm also looking forward to summer- things tend to clear up then. I might try to take him to a salt cavern to see if it helps, it has in the past. I feel super crunchy for saying that.
Thanks, rm2013! I just picked up the All free and clear, but I haven't gotten new hand soap yet. I'm going to look into the lotion!
It's pricey but totally worth it, and lasts a long time when you're only using it on a little one. I hope changing your products works! We haven't had to use the steroid creams in a couple years, even in winter.
NT scan and midwife appointment both went perfectly! Little bubb was super cooperative for the scan, chilling with its thumb in its mouth, then did a little tumble show for us once the scan was done. No concerning markers from the scan, should have blood results back next week. Midwife appt lasted all of a few minutes, with just a quick BP reading, a couple questions, and doppler.
DH was with me for the morning and since the second appt was so quick, we stopped for an impromptu lunch date. It was just what we needed since I'm leaving for a trip for the next few days early tomorrow morning. Great day!
