jmcbick, I figured I would feel it and it would be kind of dramatic and uncomfortable but I wondered if it would happen more incrementally or all at once. There was a lot of action last night and I was hoping he was making his way down but this morning his head seems to be back where it was up top.
The weird thing is I've been feeling what I was pretty sure were hiccups down low for a few weeks, which is why I thought he was head down, but it turns out that's where his butt is. Hmm.
When she flipped breech to head down the first time (around 34 weeks) it was a big dramatic movement all at once. This time when she moved again, she went transverse for a good 8-12h first and then flipped. I'm not 100% she's breech again but what I'm feeling down low feels too strong not to be kicks, unless I'm growing a future champion boxer hahaha
OMG guys, DD just threw up twice. T&Ps that I don't get a stomach virus while this pregnant please! Because of my chronic illness they never subside on their own and always land me in the hospital. Last time DH got over his in 8 hours and after 14 hours, I had to check into the hospital overnight. Not looking forward to reliving that fun at 36w! FX it was just something weird that DD ate.
Mine's breech at the moment, too, but in Pike position so both the head and the feet are up top.
I'm always amazed at how different moms can really feel and tell where baby is. I remember with DS the OB would feel around and be like, "yep, there's the butt.... there's his foot..... here's his arm.... " and I'd feel what she was feeling and be like, "huh??" lol
P.S. Good luck that babies get into position when the time comes!
So I was all ready to try BFing again to see if it works this time, ordered my Spectra S2 pump, and now as I get closer to delivery, I'm really questioning if I want to bother. I'm already stressing about it, which is not good for my anxiety. I have zero problems with FF and DD did great with formula. My main issue now if that I got the free pump and I feel really bad about not using it, which is probably really weird.
Hugs! Easier said than done, but try not to stress about it. Currently it's out of your control but you have the pump so you might as well hold on to it and just wait and see. I've heard so many stories about how different each experience is, so who knows! Maybe it'll be super easy and enjoyable! Or it could be similar to last time, and if so, that is TOTALLY OK! If you end up not using the pump I'd look into donating it, but I would suggest not yet because you just never know how you feel.

Somers Isles, haha I really only found out from the ultrasound, but the MW did confirm it yesterday. We have been guess at his body parts recently and I knew where his feet were because he's been kicking me there pretty consistently the past week or two, but I thought the big hard part I was feeling next to the feet was his butt but it turns out that's his head. Maybe the butt isn't quite as hard, I don't know.
I kind of expected the MW to tell me that there is still plenty of time for him to flip but she is pretty proactive about getting the baby to flip. She gave me two weeks to try on my own at home but then wants me to go to a chiropractor or an acupuncturist if he hasn't flipped in 2 weeks.
