Rough Friday over here... Sick toddler = sick newborn and sick husband. I'm knock on wood the only one who isn't sick (yet). I need a drink. Is it too early?!
Today I begin the weaning process from the pump. I go back to work in 4 weeks and want to do it gradually. I'm sure work would accommodate me, but I don't produce enough as it is and I get into the zone at work and would forget to do it. Also, day care provides formula. I am a little sad that nursing didn't work again, but also happy I won't be tied to the pump.
ladytiffany24 My two year old was sick last week and I was so glad she went back to DC on Monday.
T takes awhile to fall asleep. But once he does he doesn't get up a lot. Maybe 2 times a night. Also, discovered he likes to have his arms out of the swaddle. He has been gagging a bit though. Hoping he doesn't have reflux. Also, oh shit erinshelley21 that's scary
Zelda BotW is my life now. Omg. Today is going a thousand times better than yesterday, but I am still going to be lazy and play my game because why not?

You've commnvinced me, I'm telling DH I need this for my birthday in a few weeks.
DS has pink eye and he is at the height of the terrible twos. 😩 I think he's having a hard time adjusting to L needing us and he's lashing out, especially when he knows I can't do much to discipline (won't sit in a time out when I'm nursing). Today is going to suck.
I literally just went through this this week! My 2 1/2 year old had pink eye and is also in the height of the terrible 2's! You have oh my sorries! DD is acting out a little bit too since the baby came around. Not anything towards the baby but just in general. Like she's up the attitude quite a bit. I kept her home for two days with the pinkeye and by the time it was all said and done I couldn't wait to send her back to the sitter! I felt absolutely awful but I just needed a break.
I get it. So much. I broke down to H this morning and told him DS frustrates me so much and I feel like he doesn't even like me bc I'm constantly correcting him (not nit-picking) for pushing, pinching, spitting, etc. I was legitimately not looking forward to spending the day with him, which made me feel like the worst mother of all time. Of course my sour patch kid is being sweet today, so it hasn't been bad. I'm tired, though, and looking forward to nap time 😬

Do ittt! It's amazing.
That's why my H got it! My birthday is also mothers day this year so I had extra bargaining power.
muskiefan you are a great mom! I'm sure learning to juggle the needs to 2 kids at high maintenance (but different) ages is rough.
My family all has dinner together on Sundays at my parents house, and my 22 month nephew yells at us to put the baby down, gets under her play mat, wants to be held while he eats....you mamas of young toddlers have a LOT going on.
Speaking of tummy time, I really Hope DD meets GM skills close to on time. DS was way behind (he's fine now) and it was really stressful. I'd love to avoid that.
DS really needs to burn some energy but the walk I keep trying for keeps getting put off because every time we get close to ready DD needs to eat again. Nursing was much more relaxing with the first kid even though it took a while to figure out because most days if I never left my chair it really didn't matter. This time it means my house becomes a disaster zone.

This whole house, myself included, wants this soo badly. So not in the budget though. Enjoy! For now, we play the new season of D3 and some Isaac. Would probably play more WoW with the hubby, but his computer 'sploded back in December and we haven't been able to replace it yet.
Another night with little sleep >< The twins are still sick, one is at a point she has a fever, but the runny nose has slowed. The other one is just a gross snot monster. Ewww! Moar hand sanitizer please?
I'm currently ridiculously frustrated with the curriculum I chose for the 9th grade virtual school for my older girls. The one we used through all of the lower grades had a nice parent version that I could see what they were working on before they got there.. this one shows me nothing. Ugh. So frustrated with the sudden "Hey, mom.. this project requires yeast and four types of mushrooms before we can move on." ... seriously!

I took a nap and feel fabulous. It was only 30 minutes but whatever! DD and I are getting ready to go into work for a few then to the grocery store to look for an oatmeal stout. I've always wanted to try it and it could help with milk supply so if I must drink it then I will

My twins just became snotty messes too! It's stressful but I'm pretty sure they are just colds so if the baby gets it it won't be a huge deal as long as he doesn't get a fever

Hope yours feel better soon. Cute twin moment.. I gave O her chewable tylenol.. which she was going to share with her twin. Only O needed it though, so the other gave it back. Adorable though
missi what is virtual school? Sounds interesting. I hope the twins are feeling better soon!
Virtual school is school curriculum delivered virtually to your home. We attend a public charter school that offers three different virtual curriculums, a book curriculum, or a mix; my girls also have a teacher that checks in with them regularly and watches their progress and they are offered lots of field trips and a weekly class meetup if we choose to go or have the time. We've been doing virtual since my teenagers started school. I absolutely love it.. or have until we hit high school curriculum and they are so worried about cheating that you can't access anything until you absolutely get to that specific part. How the heck am I supposed to plan our days?
We chose to try out StrongMind this year. The curriculum / lessons are amazing. The parent side of it is nonexistent, so that kinda negates the amazing
