Ultrasound and appointment went great! Official due date is November 18, heartrate was 171bpm. I'll be starting weekly progesterone shots between 16-20 weeks because of my history of preterm labor. Hurray...but hopefully I'll be able to keep this one in until at least 36 weeks.
I'll too will be doing 17P injections starting at about 16 weeks and continue until 36 weeks or when baby comes. I haven't had my OB appointment yet but we laid all of this out at my 6w pp appointment after DS. I had DS at 34w3d and am also hoping to get to at least 36 weeks this time. Oh, and also have a dd of 11/18 so basically we will be twinning this pregnancy
How are you feeling? Nauseous, tired and I've been having really bad cramps all day. No bleeding, and I have a mild temp, so I'm thinking in addition to the morning sickness I may have a stomach bug.
Any appointments this week? Friday I have my first appointment and US
QOTW: What is your current TV obsession? I don't currently have one, but definitely need to look through this thread for some ideas.

Ultimate baby challenge! Who can hold it in the longest? Lol DD was 34w5d and DS was 33w6d. 36+ weeks sounds like a mystical place I've only heard about in fairy tales. May we both be huge and uncomfortable for as long as possible!
Ummm, I'm not really sure. She just said progesterone shots and I didn't probe further. I'm not great at asking in the moment medical questions.
Ok, my tips will be for that scenario, if yours is different then disregard lol. I found it best to warm the oil by holding the vial or syringe in my hand for 5-10 minutes, this will help the oil disperse, if you're going somewhere to do get them done maybe stick the vial between your boobs on the drive over. If a medical professional is doing the shots they should get them in the right place lol. We didn't realize until this cycle that we weren't doing them high enough or far enough to the side. Being in the right spot makes a world of difference. After I try to either walk around/on the treadmill or sit with the heating pad on the spot to help the oil move otherwise you end up with a knot under the skin which can be painful.
Thanks for the tips! Maybe I'll ask the lab tech to let me keep it between my boobs for a few minutes, just in case😉
Thanks peggels24! Everything went well. Baby's heartbeat was was 171 and I'm measuring 9w4d, which is exactly what I thought based on suspected O day. (And which means my Dr's receptionist, who told me I would only be 7w at this appt and made me feel crazy, can suck it! Haha! Feeling vindicated!) Will go back in 2 weeks for genetic testing.
Also, my OB did a pelvic exam and told me I had a severely retroverted uterus. He asked if anyone else had ever told me that. Uhh...no. And this guy saw me, and did pelvic exams, during my last pregnancy and didn't mention it. He said it may have developed based on the way my uterus healed after my C-section with DS. Does anyone know anything about this? Would it affect one's ability to give birth vaginally? I'm hoping for a VBAC.

7w/1d
So. Dang. Exhausted. And nausea comes and goes. And please, husband I love you, but stop making eggs for supper. I feel like Pam on the Office when it comes to eggs.
Next appointment is May 1. I'll be 10 weeks. Had a US last week due to spotting and have been spotting light brown since. Totally different pregnancy this time around.
I love all the Primetime dramas. Blacklist is my top fave. Anyone watch? Anyone find Red a little...sexy? Just me. Okay.
Anyone get lightheaded upon standing? I've also noticed a few sharp pains in my lower abdomen, *I think* when I stand up too fast? They both go away quickly but wasn't sure if I should bring it up to the RE on Wed or if it's just the symptoms I got dealt.
Yes. Me. I get lightheaded when I stand. And if I sit up too fast from laying down, I get a few sharp pains too.

Interesting. I've never been told my uterus is anything other then normal until my ultrasound earlier this week. At my ultrasound the tech pointed out that my uterus was pointing down and back. I had an emergency csection so if be curious to know if that affects it at all.

How far along are you? 9w5d I think? EDD 11/10
How are you feeling? Okay, tired. Boobs are huge. Mostly over my nausea but food is a challenge. I get hungry and nothing sounds good. Also I'm not drinking enough water so I've started adding in other liquids to make up for it.
Any appointments this week? Not until 4/26, but I think I'm going to schedule my Panorama draw for next Tuesday.
QOTW: What is your current TV obsession? Nothing, I'm about ready to cut cable and go to just internet. I'm looking forward to the new season of Game of Thrones, but that's a long way off still.

I can't believe is my coming back until July. I was ready for it to come back on the 23rd with Silicon Valley.
Any appointments this week? Last appointment with the RE this morning, I was a blubbering mess when I left lol. OB intake on Friday.
QOTW: What is your current TV obsession? I don't have one at the moment. Last year I binge watched Parenthood, loved it!
Parenthood was such a great show! Have you watched This is Us? The first season just finished, but H and I loved it. Definitely recommend tissues for every episode.

mrspiatt I started watching this is us and everyone was comparing it to parenthood so I decided to binge watch it and see lol. Afterwards I finished watching the first season of this is us.

Congrats on graduating laurensc927! I actually think the doctor/nurse was expecting a more thankful response from me at my last ultrasound. Sorry doc/nurse, I am unemotional, but not unthankful!
I really want to watch Parenthood, but it's not on Canadian Netflix! Boo! I didn't really like This is Us, too cheesy?

I love love love love love love Parenthood. I looked forward to watching it every week and cleaning out my tear ducts. H knew to leave me be and just hand me my tissues. That being said, I like This is Us but I don't love it. I don't feel the same love for the characters that I did with Parenthood. It's a good show and I will keep watching it but I think it's in a completely different league than Parenthood.

Weird... I too was told at this US that my ute was tilted back. I had an unplanned c-section but I would say it was more urgent than emergent... I'll have to ask about it at my next appointment!!!

+1 to this.
Also blabbermouth I wasn't prepared to get emotional but I haven't teared up or really gotten emotional thus far so I guess it all came pouring out today lol. At least I made it to my car before I really lost it.

Two anecdotal pieces:
My mom has a tilted uterus and never even went into labor. She had an emergency C with me and a planned C with my brother.
I also have a tilted uterus. I had my son vaginally with no complications. I did, however, get a perforated uterus when my OB tried to insert an IUD. So there's that.
Basically, gonna depend on the severity of the tilt. Most uteruses (sp?) Are tilted in some way and it usually does not impact birth according to my OB. Your body tends to get itself in order when prepping for giving birth. Or it doesn't and you have a C

Good to know! They weren't concerned and I'm still slated for a VBAC.
How are you feeling? The nausea is starting to get better but comes and goes first thing in the morning and at night. I'm still dragging and my boobs are sensitive.
Any appointments this week? My next appointment isn't until next month.
QOTW: What is your current TV obsession? Dh and I are hooked on the Chicago shows. I like them all but my favorites in order are med, fire, pd, and justice.
I'm fire, med, pd and justice but to be fair - I have only seen one justice.
And ugh my boobs have just really started the whole sensitive thing and I want to cut them off
