I'm doing Beachbody - I love the workouts and try to follow the 21day fix eating plan. Finding the time to workout has been hard but with watching my diet the last few weeks I've lost 6 lbs. I've lost 36 of the 70 pounds I gained. 25 more to go. Ugh.
I am 10lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I started my pregnancy 20 lbs over weight so I would like to lose 30 within this year.
I will not make another batch of lactation cookies- I couldn't stop eating them. I also didn't notice any improved with supply.
I was cleared for excersise so I really want to start walking soon. I got an ergo baby carrier with an infant insert and I'm hoping to try it out soon and get comfortable with it.
mikaela20 we've been using the ergo baby the past week. Im loving it! Also- I agree with you on WW. I cut down calories last week. (I mean- honestly from like probably close to 2800 to 1800, and noticed a huge drop in supply one day.) I never ate mi h more than 1200 before pregnancy and everything I read says "500 additional calories" but that didn't work for me. I'm still trying to find a balance bc I can't seem to get the scale to budge anymore even with increased exercise.
I'm struggling with how sedentary I have been recently. Between the hours spent nursing the baby and my general fatigue, I feel like I spend way too much of the day sitting down. Pre-pregnancy, I would average 10k-15k steps a day, plus a run on top of it. I'm averaging probably 5k steps per day right now. I bought a double-stroller this weekend so hopefully that will get me out and moving again.

I think the rule of thumb of only needing an extra 500 calories for bf'ing is bs. I don't know what a good estimate of how much extra you need to eat is, but 500 seems really low.
Has anyone found a healthy lactation recipe? All the ones I find are baked goods or bites. I'm worried it's because the brewers yeast and flax tastes gross. Would it be terrible to try to desolve brewers yeast in water and drink it like a shot?

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try? I'm sure it would be...hard to get dowm.
Could you put ground flaxseed on oatmeal? With some fruit and honey.
I don't know shit about breastfeeding I'm just growing out ideas.
Okay I suck and totally forgot about starting a challenge.
I will pm those who are interested with my email. It will tell me your fitbit name so if you want to change it so it doesn't display your last name do so before you friend me.

I have an Apple Watch, and I'm not tech savvy... is there a platform to be a part of a challenge with different fitness trackers?

I'm scared to try it lol. But it seems that would be an efficient way to get it down.

Maybe throw the flax seeds in the blender with some yogurt and fruit to make a smoothie? As for the brewers yeast, it looks like that's available in capsule form. I'd much rather swallow a handful of capsules than take a shot of something gross. Lol.
mikaela20 I made a batch of cookies too, then was eating so many I went ahead and finished them just so I couldn't eat them anymore (great logic, I know). I won't be making anymore unless I think I need a supply boost!
I very nervously tried on a pair of pre preg fat jeans today (1 size up from where I was when I got pregnant). They buttoned but where very uncomfortable. So now I feel terrible and disgusted with myself. Rationally I know I'm only 15 days pp and am about 10lbs above pre preg weight so of course they don't really fit but still, blah. I am dying to start the 21df workouts again and am doing my best to mentally prep and prep my kitchen to get back on the eating plan. It'll (kind of) be easier when H goes back to work so I have more me time (plus the kids) to workout and I still need to get Dr clearance.
mikaela20: I put flax seed in various things without detriment to taste. Smoothies & oatmeal don't change in taste IMO... as long as your flaxseed meal is ground enough.
So... does anyone use the Fitbit food tracker? I have always used my fitness pal and wondering if the Fitbit tracker is just as good or if I should download my fitness pal again
TTMA Fitbit challenge. Do I have to buy like the watch and such? I don't have the money for that. But I could participate if it was something through my phone only. I take a shit ton of steps at work so I am hopeful that all the walking will jump start some good weight loss. The one benefit of being forced to go back to work so early I guess??

I think you can sync them so you still enter food on MFP (which has a better interface imo), but it also shows up in your Fitbit account.
This is what I did when I was tracking - I like MFP much better.

Also moutonrouge, thanks for the info! Looks like I'm downloading MFP!

I think you have to have a tracker, but you might be able to use help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1875 through your phone possibly. They also have some $60 options that are just pedometers and not the watches.
