Has anyone else considered pooping while breast feeding? I won't do it I promise. But dang. I have to go real bad and Izzi is taking her sweet time this morning.
I did it with my singleton. More than once. For whatever reason, nursing made me have to poop. Like he would latch, I'd get letdown and the urge to go.
Can I get help with baby wearing twins. I have a ktan & two tulas from my daughter, but am wondering what I should use for the twins. Any recommendations?
I wore my twins in a Moby when they were really little. Honestly, I never felt comfortable with both in there, so I usually just wore one.

I personally never wore them together because by the time I felt comfortable trying it, they were heavy and didn't feel secure in my Moby.
Paging housecarder, she wore her twins often and was amazing at it!
I do wear them tandem now in the TwinGo and love it (once they could sit independently, I could finally back carry one, yay!). You can also tandem with 2 Tulas since you already have one.

Are you on Facebook? There's a page called "Tandem Babywearing" that was really helpful. We started with a stretchy wrap but I never really felt secure. Once they got to be too big for that, I did two ring slings but it really restricts your arms. But it's a REALLY easy up once you get the hang of it. Once one baby was sitting unsupported, we moved to the Twingo which we still use.
If I could go back, I would have gotten a mei tai. You can use them for back carries much earlier.

Are you on FB? There's a worldwide tandem baby wearing group -lots and lots of posts by twin moms

R's length jumped at his 4-month appointment, but so far L is growing even faster than R.
Also, L held himself up on his forearms, looked around, and flipped himself belly to back. I'm not sure the doctor had ever seen a 2-month old baby do that.

I also pooped with a baby. He was colicky AF and ya gotta do whatcha gotta do.
The kids just took 2-2hr naps... either they're sick or I'm just screwed tonight ETA I normally get one nap, 90 minutes out of them.
Oh no! I hope it's just a growth spurt and they sleep great tonight too! We had the opposite. Two 40 minute naps today when they usually have two 60 mins+one 30-40 min. I'm hoping they're just ready to drop to 2 naps
W woke up with another tooth. No wonder he kept waking up last night.
I think our son was having multiple wake-ups for the same reason. I kept attributing everything to teething when there were no teeth on the horizon that I didn't even consider it this last time!

I love wearing my girls! I did a Moby when they were little and would say make it tight! Since they stretch you need to make it tighter than you think you need. After the Moby I've used: one wrap, a wrap and a RS, a RS and a SSC, and a SSC and a wrap. My favorite is one on front and one on my back in the same wrap. It's less bulky and my arms are free.
I love doing it at the children's museum so I can park my giant stroller and weave in and out of the crowd with my older two. I loved he Tandem FB page but also suggest going to a Baby Wearing International meeting if you have a local chapter. I might have given up on back carries if I hadn't. Pics of carrying in spoiler.
@katerli When they were little I wore both in a Boba. Now that they are bigger I use the Twingo. Honestly though it is just heavy so I rarely wear them. Before H went back to work we would each wear one.

Ouch, the pregnancy insomnia and swelling hit hard today. As did all the emotions - feeling overwhelmed with PTIng, being So pregnant that it's hard to do much, snd H is sick. Trying to remind myself Most of these things are temporary! But still getting freaked out about adding twin newborns to the mix.
@wineandcupcakes, Try to make it to a BWI meeting. We don't have one here and the person that runs a lending library (why we don't have a BWI) rubs me the wrong way. I'm sticking to youtube here.
Z and W have started yelling at the dog in unison. It's hilarious because she's only interested in licking their faces and now that they're sitting, they've started grabbing her. I'm starting to think that she thought that they were always going to be immobile little blobs that taste like milk.

There has definitely been an attitude change with my dogs when the babies started being able to move after them. They handle it well though, but you can tell they didn't think that was going to happen and don't know what to think when the kids start screeching at them. We have been working on open hand pets.

We're definitely showing them the right way to pet. And not pulling hair, but I know it's a lot early.
Recently, W crawled over to Lucy and grabbed her foot. She looked very surprised, pulled her foot back, and backed up and laid down. W crawled over to her again and grabbed her foot. Lucy got up and headed for the couch. It was almost like "I didn't sign up for this." I don't think any of our animals are prepared for mobile babies.

Oh yes our dog goes through the same! Her feet and ears are their favorites. We work every day on GENTLE. lol
The most recent thing has been trying to grab onto her fat rolls to pull up. She's so darn good with them, though! I couldn't be more thankful.

Yes! All of our animals are SO good with them and so patient. Z caught one of the cats yesterday and she was just like "crap. She caught me" and waited until we extracted her hair from Z's hands.
We're obviously right there when babies and animals are in the same room, but we give everyone free reign, which inevitably ends in someone being grabbed by a baby.
