Oh what I wouldn't give renegadewhit L has been cluster feeding for the past 4ish hours. During the day he had several 3 hour naps. I didn't sleep during them and I should have. So tired. He also peed past his diaper, through his onesie, his sleep sack and onto my stomach.
Up feeding. Got little man down a little earlier last night than normal (hoping it's our new normal) and he slept for a decent chuck. Hoping he's not up super early for the day (Though I'm not holding my breath.)

I'm up and could easily go back to sleep. I was up with DD from 2:30-3:30 then ds got me up at 4:30 and DD again at 6. I have to stay up though since my appt is at 9:15
I took Zyrtec D yesterday, and I'm pumping roughly half of what I normally do. I'm hoping I didn't F up my supply, my allergies have just been so bad. I won't be taking anything w a D in it again though!
Took L and camped out in the other room with the RnP. He's been sleeping an hour between feedings there instead of the bassinet which he apparently doesn't sleep well in.
DH was trying to stay up with me last night and I finally told him just to go to sleep because it's no use both of us being sleep deprived and he doesn't have the boobs so it's not like we can work in shifts.

I drank an oatmeal stout last night since I finally found some and have a headache this morning from that or the weather. My sorry ass didn't even finish it.

Good morning! So I somewhat loosely started Moms On Call yesterday. After just the first day, B slept in his crib for EVERY nap and slept in his crib all night, giving me an almost 4 hour stretch of sleep and then a 3 1/2 hour stretch after that. I'll take it for day number 1! I feel like a brand new woman! DD never wanted anything to do with her crib, at least not until much, much later (like 9 months) so this is magical!

DH's meeting got cancelled so he's home to help with the kids. He got DD dressed and I have to paint a mental image for you all because it's typical dad: grey pants with black hearts, pink shirt with navy blue letters, peach bow. I'll give him the shirt because he might think the letters are black but this is such a Mr. Erinshelley outfit lol
Normally when I don't sleep, I just laze on the couch. Not today.
It's 8 am, and I'm at the gym bc my mom was able to watch the baby. After that, I have my moms group, and lunch. And then, my boss's trial is starting at the court house just 2 miles from my house, so I'm going over to watch opening statements. I am going to CRASH when we get home around 5 pm

It will come mosdub. We noticed that with L and tried to stimulate her to cluster in the evening so we could get one stretch of 3 hours (undressed her, etc.). Hopefully your little guy switches his times soon! The RNP also helped us get through her first 4 weeks of physio reflux.
ladytiffany24 I'm definitely borrowing that book from our friend!

muskiefan yeah Boba twins! I never did a stretchy wrap with my first and I'm really enjoying it. She hated having her head contained so by the time she could hold it up, an SSC worked great and was quicker for me.
I have a not stretchy wrap I might try with him, too. It's gorgeous but I couldn't get it to feel right with Elena.
muskiefan thank you it was hard. I had to keep reminding myself "it's not like you have shit to do tomorrow- just go with it" but it's hard. Especially with these baby blues/hormones. My mom came over and offered to hold him while I caught up on sleep and I took her up on it. I got 2 HARD hours of sleep and now I'm just crying in bed before I get up because I'm so thankful she did that and that I have her to do that, because I love my baby and because i was just so fracking tired. I'm basically in a glass case of emotions right now and trying to compose myself
@priss08 one of my Jan 15 moms sent it to me bc she's done using it! I'm passing it along to her friend once I'm done with it, so it works out perfectly!
kristhegirl I only used the ergo and ring sling with my others when they were tiny. (Hated the k'tan). I'm digging the Boba, though!
... I'm in the camp with those who's toddlers are making the nights extra long. I completely miss them being in the same room as their teenage sisters. I think that gave them that extra comfort and both twins slept better. My dh is furious because he's gotten so little sleep with us waking up to find O standing in our doorway ready to play.. at 1,2, and 3 am. ><
DS actually took a decent nap for the first time yesterday. That was pleasant
. is there a kids consignment shop anywhere near you? We have a couple, and they have swings, etc. in really nice shape for pretty inexpensive (esp. compared to new.)
