nam2013, yes to antibiotics if it's mastitis. You will probably have a red mark of some kind on your boob and have a fever and feel fluish if you have it. Try a warm shower and running a wet comb over it to help break up clogs. And call doc for antibiotics. Good luck. It is not fun!
I've been up since 3am spiraling about my new baby who will be here next week!! I'm getting super paranoid about where she'll sleep. Both boys slept in a rock n play when little and it worked great, but I'm now getting myself paranoid that they're not safe enough for all night. I'm just getting nervous remembering how scary it is to have a newborn! Anyway, really need to catch a few more hours of sleep or work is going to suck today!
xolastunicornxo, your poor niece! How horrible someone took a bottle in the water and left broken glass. Did she go to PCH? I recognize the gowns. They are so good there. I hope they are good working with the bill too!

Ugh sorry nam2013. Mastitis is terrible. Do you have a fever too? That's how I knew for sure- fever, pain and chills. A nurse diagnosed me over the phone. You will absolutely need abx but they really work fast. I had some relief in 24hrs. Hope you feel better!

Sorry I wasn't around yday. I was so swamped at work and totally fried by the end of the day. I've got our home builders coming here in about 10min to do our 1 year walk through! At the end of this month we'll have been here a full year. I can't believe how quickly that went!
Wow heymama that went fast! (Maybe you don't think so? Haha) So exciting 😊
Dropping B at school this morning, where they'll be doing an Easter egg hunt--not sure if parents stick around for that or not. We did last year but it was in conjunction with the hat Parade.
C and I are going to go test new strollers at BBB and I'm ridiculously excited. I also need to get B a new belt and done last minute Easter basket stuff.

Morning!
Sorry about the mastitis nam2013. I hope you get some meds soon.
I was just thinking about you heymama and @mambear13 the other day, wondering when your due dates are. I'm officially in my third trimester as of last week and I can't believe it, so I knew you two were even closer.
I have my glucose test this morning, then heading to work. I'm starving and I can't wait to eat in 45 minutes. I hope I don't start to get nauseous before I am able to eat.
Morning! Colin woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, so that was fun. He's finally gotten to the point where he's sort of half-heartedly batting at Chase, which is also fun. I feel like we're constantly warning him or chastising him, which I hate. He starts crying and then Chase in turn also starts crying... It just sucks all around. I know this too shall pass, but it's exhausting. At least we can go outside in the evenings now, which keeps them somewhat separated.
I'm sorry, nam2013! I spent a Christmas with mastitis and it was awful! The antibiotics helped kick it pretty quickly though, so I hope you get on some ASAP!
Lol LizInFL, feels like it went fast in some ways. In other ways, I feel like April the giraffe! Btw, I feel for that mama, everyone watching her and asking if today will be the day!!

Hey girls. I'm at Starbucks with the boy fueling for the day. I already went to Benefit and got my brows done. Next up, the kitchen store to find new hardware.
Having contractors in your house makes you look for things to do all day.
I can't even explain it. We were standing at the back of our Outback before I loaded her in the car. She picked up this blue "thing," that looked to me like a piece of velcro. It was about the size and shape of a dime, but flexible (thank goodness), and probably thinner. I did not think anything of it and she had it when I put her in her carseat. About 20 minutes later, we were waiting for DH in the parking lot at Home Depot when she started screaming. I looked in the mirror and saw her with her finger way up her nose. I asked what was wrong and she scream/cried "There's something in my nose!" I asked what it was and she said "the blue thing." I got out and looked and couldn't see anything. Of course DH had forgotten his phone, so I pulled up in front of HD, turned on my hazards, locked the doors and raced inside and found him - luckily he was at the checkout, so I didn't have to go searching for him.
When the doctor pulled the blue thing out, it was curled up, and we didn't get a good look at it before they took it away, so really it's a mystery.
I saw a video of a dad blowing in the nostril that didn't have anything in it to get the other one to spit out the stuck thing. Don't know if it's recommended but it worked!
Dude has never put anything up his nose (yet), but this is what our pedi said to try if he does.

Jealous! I love ❤️ Benefit but I can't buy their stuff anymore. I didn't even know they would do brows in store.
I just had Jimmy Johns for the first time ever. It was ok. Better than the quinoa and kale joint I first stopped at.
Do y'all not have JJ where you live?
It's ok to me--I like their bread and they *are* "freaky fast"--but I tend to like steamed subs better so my favorite is Firehouse. If you see one of those and like hot subs, go.

wedding, no nose frida for us. The only thing Cadence puts up her nose are her damn fingers, usually at bedtime. When shes tired she starts digging. Don't ask me why, cause I've tried everything to get her to stop.
Also, I like the veggie from JJ on their nine grain bread. Best sandwich ever.
I'm sorry you're in pain @nam. I feel like you, goldi, and peach need to go quarantine on an island for a while and have a sleep expert come in to while your kids in shape while your away. All of you have truly had enough!
Yes we truly do, we also need a ton of cocktails and food we do not have to cook ourselves.
No way! I'll cook for you! But yes please to all the cocktails. And beer.
cagoldi Firehouse Subs was founded here in my hometown by a couple former firefighters. There are actually a handful in CA but they're more in the central part of the state. They're all over the country but so far mostly concentrated in the south and mid-Atlantic.
I've never been to JJ'S, and won't. As Goldi said, the owner is an unapologetic trophy hunter, plus he's a shitty boss. He tried to make his employees sign non-compete agreements - not corporate employees, his frontline sandwich makers. As if minimum wage workers shouldn't be able to take their talents to Subway. Asshole.
Yeah! I forgot about those non-compete agreements.
For the Eton mess absolutely! It has smashed up merengues in it, it is the best summer dessert.
So I've never done meringues from aquafaba (chickpea bribe), but it is the best substitute for eggs in baking for most recipes.
I do know you can use it for meringues and I have friends that say they work every bit as well as eggs. There's even an aquafaba meringue FB group where they show off their confections. I'm not much of a baker, but I keep meaning to try it.

I'm getting induced, so could be a long live blog! I'll hopefully sleep through a lot if it, but will try to check in!
xolastunicornxo, cardon's is great too. They must have the same gowns! @sing2phins, so scary! We haven't a had a nose incident yet, knock on wood! Glad to have learned the nostril blowing trick now!
