Meeting my mom, grandma, and sil today to do a little shopping and lunch. Hopefully my kids will behave! Looking forward to it plus it should be nice weather which just makes things better.
I've been wearing maxi skirts the past couple days because either the bloat is out of control or I'm showing. Definitely feeling significantly bigger. I'm sure my dessert habit lately isn't helping though!

We have a huge project going on at work. We have been told to hold this Friday open for travel as part of it. My boss and I just received news that we will not be travelling Friday but instead have to be gone Monday-Thursday of NEXT week. We are both pissed. We have full calendars at work (that we have been planning around our initial travel dates), families at home, and now a lot of unexpected travel expense coming out of the department's budget. This is insane.

I can't be all negative today. After talking it over with y'all yesterday and considering all sides, I am feel a *lot* better about everything. I have you guys to thank. It's a new, better day (aside from my work BS going on).
Back from my trip! Other than travel hell getting there (holy crap the flight delays and cancellations on the east coast), I had a good time and was glad I went.
I took yesterday off as a day to rest after my trip and spend time with DS, which was 100% the right choice. Got to take a 2 hour nap and have lunch with my parents.
Fun thing that happened yesterday: my parents' weird neighbor called me out saying "ooo someone is expecting!". I was sitting down when he had this revelation. My pooch when sitting could have EASILY been just some extra flab. Dang he is lucky he was right.
Me: "haven't told my team yet. Does this top make me look pregnant?" H: "you know you're pregnant but they don't. They will just think you're gaining weight."
Lol, shytimes. Mine is a keeper too. My H keeps suggesting we go to a brewery or go for a strenuous hike, etc. I have to keep reminding him I'm pregnant and he goes, "Ohhh yeah! I keep forgetting about that!" 😒 I think that means I haven't complained enough about nausea/exhausation!
DS has another freaking ear infection so we are revisiting the ENT. He already has tubes so I fear they will want to take out his adenoids. He just finished oral antibiotics a week ago so I also fear we will be doing shots today. Not the Tuesday I had in mind!
I hope it clears up quickly. Those shots are the worst. Poor guy. How long ago did he get his tubes?

Sees clickbait about a woman who gave birth to a 13lb baby.
**whispers to uterus "please don't be 13 pounds"
The nurse in my childbirth class said the biggest baby your body can make is your shoe size plus one. The nurse was a liar. I had an 8 pound baby with my size 5 feet.

I think my boobs finally gave up on BF'ing. DS angrily popped off my boob twice last night. So he's not getting anything. I'm glad to stop because I've been ready for a while now but I am sad about it.

That sounds like an awfully strange way to judge the size of your future babies. I'm side-eyeing that nurse.

That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I wear a 7.5 and my firstborn was 10.2 pounds. I'd love to see what medical journals she's following ::eye roll::
abfor3 I take issue with a nurse telling you that.
bubblefan RIGHT?! I was all kinds of flabbergasted... because he knows it's an issue and it's not like he didn't deal with a pregnant wife once before.

I'm right there with you Little Owl. Though DS didn't seem to mind he wasn't getting much and was content to dry nurse. It....hurt.
I was only nursing at bedtime and we had an opportunity to put him down without nursing Friday night because he fell asleep in the car on an hour-long drive home. DH has been reading books, singing, and putting him down since. It's going fine, so I think we're done. I was ready, but I am sad, too.

My pgal brain has been quieted down for a while. I literally popped over the last few days, buh-bye regular pants! And we found her on the Doppler earlier and she has moved herself to the middle. She also kicked the wand a few times. She is feisty! Could have been the regular mocha I had this morning. Sorry not sorry.
I hope it clears up quickly. Those shots are the worst. Poor guy. How long ago did he get his tubes?
He's had them before and they were awful. He had them placed in November and he's had three ear infections since. I think December was the only month without one but we got the norovirus sooooo

I'm normally indifferent to both tomatoes and ice cream but this pregnancy I'm all about both. Was just commenting to DH about the tomato thing, in fact.
