I also don't see how people manage to skip diaper changes overnight. If we skip even one (based on feeding every 3/4 hours) they leak. They are just pee machines I guess.
I love Pampers Baby Dry. According to the Pampers website they are available down to NB size. Even nights that DS STTN now they've been containing all the pee.
Some moms on my BMB had luck preventing leaking by sizing up overnight.

I actually just opened a box of baby dry today. So far they don't seem to have the same smell as the swaddlers. They seem thin to me (newborn size). Luvs actually seem to be the most absorbent at night but even those are hit or miss on leaking at night.
I swear by the Target brand diapers. They fit her the best and she's never had leaks. And no weird smell.
We have a few boxes of Target brand! SIL also swears by them. Haven't made our way down to the size ones of our diaper tower yet. So far they aren't having reactions to anything so we're just using everything we've been gifted leaks or not.
Fun fact, we're finishing up our seventh case of diapers since she was born. I know this because all the boxes are still in her room full of all the clothes she's outgrown. Lol
Thanks love! I'm okay. My back hurts the most from all the sticks of the epidural. 40 minutes to place an epidural was just too damn long.
40 minutes is TOO DAMNED LONG.
Yeah my back was so tense that they had to stick me 3 times in my spine and 5-7 lidocaine shots. I had way too many contractions while they were doing it. My nurse was shocked at how long it took.

That's smart to use those boxes! You don't have to label them! Lol
I didn't even think of that! Haha
I'm donating them all to Healthy Families, but I keep forgetting to tell her to take them when she's here. I'm horrible.
This is what my schedule says too. I'm headed to the pediatrician right now for her exam. I'm having anxiety over it but I think it's just because my mom is driving and she's slow. I hate being late 😬
ALL first time moms are late for their first appointment ;-)
ALL = 99%
I have serious anxiety about being late and it only got worse after R was born. I think I was like an hour early. It was ridiculous and awful to have to sit in a waiting room with a newborn. I would have rather been late.

Being late to anything used to give me major anxiety. I'm always early everywhere. Then I had twins. Now I'm late everywhere now matter how hard I try.
Haiii everyone!! I want to play here but I hate the app so I'll probably be more active during the day. I remember some of you from the pregnancy board, So excited to see everyone moving on into motherhood.
My girl is 16 weeks and totally precious, here's a recent shot:

So how long can I let M sleep in her RNP at night? She screams and screams in her crib
The twins still sleep in RnPs. They'll probably stay there until they start rolling or trying to sit up. I would encourage M to nap in her crib once or twice a day tho so she can get used to it. I've heard horror stories about transitioning from RnP to crib. So we do RnPs at night (I try really hard not to use the auto rock unless I have to), cribs for 2 naps, and the other 2 naps just in the family room in bouncers or on their playmat, or in someone's arms.
We put DD to bed at night in her pack and play from the very beginning and used the RNP and bouncer options during the day. She did well with it but I know that's not always the case!
We need to start working with her on her daytime naps, though. She's been used to being bounced to sleep and swaddled and it's time we leave the swaddle behind and start transitioning her to a flat surface Kind of hard to work with her on those naps though since I really only have weekends with her (working FT).
@led, totally adorable!! I can't wait until DD is more mobile (I'll regret saying this later...)
mustloveerica, so sweet, I love their matching jammies! Are you putting them in matching outfits often?
Rather than tagging everyone who posted pictures to tell you how cute your kiddo/s is/are - they're all SO CUTE!!! LOL I really mean that, too, these little babes are so precious! Good job, mommas!
So I'm not a terrible parent for not having her flat on her back?
I have no idea what happened to my sweet angel last night but she screamed for hours straight. My milk needs to come in now.
No, you are definitely not a terrible parent. It's all about survival at the beginning. If you can get her to take some naps in a crib or PNP like mustloveerica suggested, that could be helpful for when you have to transition down the road, but plenty of parents let their babies sleep in RNPs because that ends up being the only way anyone gets any sleep.

They don't match if daddy dresses them. They match when I dress them. I figure they'll only let me do that for so long so I'm gong to take advantage of it now 😊
onesweetworld, do you have a pack and play with the bassinet insert? We used that for a while at first, it was tilted so it helped her sleep a little better in the beginning. We moved her out of it once she started trying to sleep with her face against the mesh sides. But like LadyNymeria said, it's all about survival! I still live by that rule some days...
Also, we had a horrible screaming night with our DD, maybe it was night 3. She was crazy fussy for a few days after that as well and I realize now that she was just hangry. Have you tried supplementing with formula? I really didn't want to do it but ended up needing to. Our lives became 100% better once she had some food on her tummy!
mustloveerica, LOL, my DH still acts like he has no idea what clothing to put our ONE child in, let alone two! This morning she was wet so he had to change her out of her sleeper before he started feeding her. She screamed the entire time. When I finally came in, he had a long sleeve onesie 1/2 way on her and was feeding her. She's been running super hot lately and has been in short sleeves... also you should probably pull the onesie all the way down and button it, LOL!

Winnifred no pack and play here. I'm thinking of ordering a cosleeper for the side of the bed because I google things like safe sleeping in a RNP and get scared. We do need a small travel crib for our camper so I'm looking for two birds with one stone.
