With my recent loss history I'm anxious to find out if they'll do one earlier than normal, if not it won't be until the end of April/first of May
Some doctors do and some doctors don't. With my second pregnancy, I called an begged for betas. My doctor agreed easily but if she hadn't, I would've switched! I also made sure I'd get a 6w ultrasound too. I can't handle the anxiety.

I was surprised by how willing they were with mine. I think it's because I'm considered high risk (not just because of AMA) and I have LOOOOOONG cycles so they need to do it for dating purposes. I can tell them I ovulated on a certain day until I'm blue in the face but there are too many women out there that are just not educated about their bodies and cycles that until they verify it they won't believe it. I had to show the intake nurse my FF chart for her to believe me when I told her I wasn't in fact over 8 weeks during my 4th week.
I'm pretty sure with my crappy insurance I wouldn't have gotten an US until the anatomy scan if we wouldn't have had to use the RE. Not sure if we will get another one between 7w-anatomy scan.

I ovulate later too. I always have to show my FF charts and hope the person actually cares. It makes me upset when people disregard it because I'm not stupid.

Insurances makes me ragey. I'm sorry that yours isn't the best.

What about the 12w screen? Is that the neural screen? I can't remember.

I think it has been replaced with a blooddraw test.

Thanks. Plus side is we have already reached 10% of our AGI. 😞
We will probably get the genetic blood tests done, but I have already been tested for basic genetics and I'm not a carrier of anything.
We are team green so I'm going to have them write all over all our files in black marker not to tell us!
Do they only offer genetic blood test for certain reasons? I've not been offered this in the past.
I think my OB does it normally?? I'm sure they will go over it during my first appointment. I feel like everyone I know who uses my practice knows at 13-14 weeks what the sex of their baby is.
I'm paying out of pocket for my first ultrasound, May 3rd (7w4d). Trying to get my doc to get me a viability scan just before the blood test (non-invasive prenatal testing) at 10w3d.

Oh wow! I don't think they do that at my office. I can't imagine finding out that early!
