Congrats on both of those events kboyet! I'm more jealous of one than the other - I'll let you guess which. 😉
I am back to eating nonstop. Guys I am always hungry. No matter what I eat, I'll be hungry not long after. I know I should be thankful that I can eat, but man I don't want to gain 500 lbs this pregnancy.
Had to get up at 4 this morning to babysit. I'm tired. And have a headache. Really hoping to feel better soon so that today isn't miserable. Thankfully the kids I'm watching are older, so they occupy my kids pretty well.
I'm also off tomorrow since daycare is closed. I remembered on Sunday that I get a floating holiday, which I usually use for Christmas Eve. I'm glad I remembered because the alternative was mil watching him, and, ugh no thanks.

Morning. DS had a much better night, though he's still snotty and coughing today, he seems overall better. Pretty sure I'm next. I can feel it coming on. Ugh. Time to make coffee and think of something fun to do today, we need to get out of the apartment for a while.

Thursday! We're leaving after work to go out of town for the weekend. Technically I'm still working my half day tomorrow, but I'm going to try to get enough done today that I don't really have to. My boss has been on vacation all week, so it's been really light on meetings and work in general. I've cleaned and rearranged my office twice already this week.
Currently making a large (single) chocolate chip cookie.
I discovered a single-serve chocolate chip cookie recipe last time I was pregnant. Dangerous stuff, right there.
This time around I'm lazier and just bought a bag of premade, pre-formed cookie dough disks I can keep in the fridge They're made by a local, woman-owned business, so really I'm doing it for the sake of the community.

Lots of people finding out their baby's sex here made me super anxious to know ours... so I was silly and scheduled an elective ultrasound for May 6th. That's almost a month before our anatomy scan at the end of May. I'm just super excited to know if DS will be getting a brother or sister!
I'll probably do some sort of Mother's Day reveal for both sets of parents - which will be a nice surprise since they won't expect us to know the sex until the end of next month.
Okay, I almost swear I've felt some baby movement yesterday/today, but that's crazy at 15w, right? Plus anterior placenta. 🤔 Yeah, probably just gas bubbles.

rachydc I need that in the worst way right now, but DS is napping. Since it's frowned upon to leave a sleeping toddler home alone, I guess it can wait. Will I find it at Target?

It let me search my zip code to see who carried it: Try clicking here

Yesss, thank you! Looks like I'll be making a Wal-Mart run later.
Random - anyone been to Napa or Sonoma? H and I may do a quick Thur -Sun in May. Trying to find a good non-Zika place.
Do it! I haven't been but it sounds like a glorious getaway.
I'm wondering if it will be a lot of coordination. Like setting up the wineries, a driver, etc. I don't want to miss out or feel like I made the wrong choices. Now that you responded, it reminded me about Palm Springs. Going to look into that too.

Oooh, mrstommyshelby, I was going to suggest Palm Springs if you weren't set on wineries! It's a dream. Last year when we went we stayed at the Ace Hotel since it was just the two of us, and it was a bit of a hipster shock walking in (as you'd expect), but overall had everything we wanted (like poolside drinks and snacks) and it was convenient to get downtown. Uber was kind of a pain, so I would have rented a car if we planned on traveling farther for hikes or anything like that. And now I'm planning my next vacation there...

I just looked it up, my H would love it. We aren't hipstery but the pool/party vibe thing would really work for us and I like proximity to downtown. If we pick PS I'll PM you for more tips.
