I'm hoping tonight is a better night. M has been on my boob for 30 minutes and I'm just letting her go. She may only be comfort sucking but I'll take the stimulation

I had a similar experience as W. My milk came in just before we were at the point where we would need to give some formula. It's terrifying. I went thru it with my first and it was just as horrible a feeling with the twins.
All of my kids liked to camp out on the boob! The plus side is you can catch up on Netflix.
Yes I will be doing that tonight. Last night I just didn't have milk to satisfy her.

What're you watching tonight?
I am re-watching Daria (I have the DVDs). When the twins were newborns I re-watched The Office and remembered how amazing that show is.
I'm actually catching up on switched at birth on demand. I will probably go back to Girlfriends Guide to Divorce when I run out of recent shows to catch up on

Can anyone speak on the postpartum anxiety? I would have one or two panic attacks a year and I'm not use to feeling like this.
I had one anxiety attack at 33 weeks that lead to my hypertension diagnosis for the rest of my pregnancy.
Now I'm having mini panic attacks every day, nothing crazy but points where I feel a little anxious and need to calm myself down before falling asleep.

Does this go away?
Maybe, maybe not. I've always had anxiety, but it got a lot worse after R was born. I also had pretty bad baby blues, but it never developed into PPD. I took Klonopin before bed for the first 2-3 months and randomly after that. But it started getting better. I also have a therapist that comes over 1-3x a week and I can call/text whenever I needed, which really helped a lot.
When you go to your doctor next, definitely bring it up.

Thanks @led I will. I also mentioned it before I left the hospital because I was having one as the social worker walked in. The ones at home are very different from the one I had leaving the hospital. I think a lot of it stems from lack of help from my husband.
Did you have a hard time finding the Brewer's yeast and then cry hysterically in the baking aisle at Whole Foods? Because I've heard that happens to some people...
lol I ordered it from Amazon so I didn't get to that point. Sorry you had a hard time

I'm really sorry your h isn't being helpful. I relied so heavily on my h, I can't imagine how hard that would be. I hope he gets his shit together and starts helping.
