Baby has been a tad cranky since shots on Monday. She fell asleep on me after feeding this morning and I'm afraid to move. We may take a trip to Target this afternoon and possibly to pick up my vintage watch that I took to a jeweler to get a repair quote. They want 250 to fix it so sadly I will probably never get it repaired.

We slept in until 8, but only because we had a two hour fart party at 4. This morning I cleaned our bathrooms while my toddler destroyed the living room and play room. Oh well.
One of my sisters and my parents come tonight and I am so happy to have them here for the weekend. For now, I am waiting for the sun to come out to get a stroller walk in with the girls.
We had a pretty good night here. Z slept from 8-12:30 and 1-5:30. 4-5 hours definitely seems to be the max she'll go without eating. We just can't get her to eat any more during the day and rarely more than 3-4oz at once. I'm not sure if her stomach is still just so small or what.
DH was gone yesterday during the day and again today and tomorrow is his normal work day so we've been on our own a lot. I'm thinking about going to check out the clear the rack event at Nordstrom rack this afternoon. I REALLY shouldn't since we owed on our taxes but a new bag or shoes sounds so good...

We had a good night last night, but I'm still feeling tired from the night before. I'm going to need more coffee down the line.
My brother is on the way here. He lives in California and it's his first time meeting S. I'm so excited. I pulled out the I love my uncle onesie. Here's to hoping she doesn't barf on it right away.
We had a unicorn night last night. Babes went down by 9pm and slept till 2:15! Nursed/bottles and then back asleep till 7! OMG....I am in shock!
My second order of wine arrived this morning! Think we're good on wine for a few months now. Getting kinda bummed because the forecast for Saturday's Easter egg hunt is calling for rain. Boo! It's down from 50% to 40% this morning so FX we can get it in!

Night 3 in the crib didn't go very well. We were up more than normal and 4 hour stretches are a thing of the past. But luckily both boys cooperated by sleeping in. So I feel ok today.
I have queso night with the girls tonight. Much excite. Like I can't properly convey how excited I am. Before that I need to get us packed to go home this weekend for Easter. We leave tomorrow around lunch time. I'll be alone with both boys before we leave, so I want to have the van packed tonight, so I do t have to do anything tomorrow morning.

So it wasn't that R didn't want to be touched yesterday as to being really constipated and gassy which resulted in screaming most of the day until he went potty at 4:30 then was happy baby after that. I then had to go through all my clothes as the shelf holding most of my wardrobe fell off the wall. I have 3 garbage bags ready to donate and 1 of maternity clothes to give to a friend.
After a truly exhausting day, R gave me the awesome gift of sleeping 9-6 straight through and I slept from 11-6 and dozed until 7 since DH took the 6 feeding.
Today he still has lots of gas but he has been napping while I clean, make appts., and work on his memory book. When he wakes up, we'll go to the store for prune juice and then to the park. It sounds like DH might have the entire weekend off, that would be awesome since he has had 3 days off other than paternity leave since R was born. He can also do our taxes tomorrow interruption free while I take R to PT then lunch.

DS2 has the freaking hiccups and won't nap! AHH! I need like an hour to finish with preparations for all the services between tonight and Sunday, please baby, nap! DS1 had his mothers day out easter egg hunt today, it was adorable. Hopefully he doesn't get too crazy on sugar...
Also, if one more old church lady asks how the baby is sleeping or if I'm breastfeeding, I WILL LOSE MY MIND. How I feed my kid is none of your business! That is all.
Our mirror in our bedroom fell off the wall at 3:30 AM. It sounded like a truck was coming through the house. I almost pooped the bed. It fell behind the dresser and didn't shatter thank god. I don't know how we got that lucky.
L&M had their 2-month checkup this morning. M was already crying pretty hard before the shots because I had to take her bottle away for the shots. I didn't know she could cry harder. Poor little girl had tears running down her face.
I have K napping and R on the kick mat right now. She LOVES it! It's so cute to see her kicking away at the piano. And it's nice she's content while I sit here doing nothing

I spent too long just now wondering where the Friday randoms were. 🙄
We went to visit my great grandma this morning, and of course we didn't leave when I wanted to, so DS fell asleep in the car and Clara is all out of wack. I'm going to try to out her down for a swing nap to reset her... lol. I think DS is sleeping - I just popped him in the crib with his shoes on and everything.
The weather is gorgeous today - perfectly spring-like. I'm hoping we can play outside this afternoon.

How many times can you go to the grocery store in one week? I swear we go at least 3 times. And we make lists and meal plan. We just run out of food! This is not boding well for my wallet's future since currently only one of my sons eats solids.
musicallyinclined I'm trying to limit it to once a week, but we'll have to make a stop tonight to get formula for L. Daycare is almost out and we are almost out, so we need at least one more tub so both places have some. I need to stay on top of ordering formula.

We are trying to figure out our insurance for pregnancy and birth and it is so confusing. We keep getting bills in the mail and then log in to pay them and they don't say the same amount. Why is this so complicated? Gah!
Clara hasn't pooped all day. I'm scared. Coincidentally, I also decided to start cloth with her today. Here's hoping my all-in-ones can contain the poo-splosion.

Possibly better than disposables. I've had better luck with cloth containing messes as long as I change them reasonably promptly.

Yeah, I'm going to change her into a prefold. She's in a newborn pocket right now, and she's really almost too big for newborn cloth. That's the only reason I'm nervous.

Dentist this morning and I have my first cavity. Womp womp. Holding E while getting my cleaning was interesting.
BUT! H went from working every day this weekend to having a three day weekend, AND, he's taking two days next week because they aren't giving overtime this month. I'm excited now, but also nervous because multiple days off often turns into him sitting down doing nothing and me being mad at him.
I am pretty sure we are car shopping at some point. Minivan mom, here I come.

One of the parents in DS1's class put stamps in the Easter eggs. Didn't realize it and now the floor is decorated with some lovely blue Easter egg stamps. I think a magic eraser should get it off. Who puts that in Easter eggs for two year olds?!

I finished sewing my baby carrier this afternoon while the toddler tore the house apart. It's modeled sheet the new xoxo carrier. I'm not sure if I like it yet or not.

Hey ladies.
Sorry I've been AWOL. Things have been beyond crazy this week with lots of job interviews.
So I've had two first round in-person interviews this week. After multiple rounds of phone interviews.
And I got a job offer today to do freelance project management for a longtime professional contact of mine. The hours would be super flexible and the money would be good. She wants me to give her an answer by Wednesday.
I'd prefer to work a traditional job for one of the two companies I interviewed for this week. But idk how quickly they're going to make decisions.
I don't want to lose this freelance opportunity because it's still better than going back to my job. But I don't want to shoot myself on the foot with the other companies either.
Ughhhhhh.
So much stress. Don't get me wrong. These are good problems to have. But ughhhh.
