I have my 6-week appointment around lunch time. Then I need to pick up an order at carter's, and stop by my grandmas on the way home to get eggs. I might get chick fil a for lunch, also. I'll only have the baby, since H has off and is keeping DS. So I won't have to feed anyone in the back seat - hooray!
Then I need to get the house in order for company tomorrow, make pizza for dinner, and 2 coconut cream pies for this weekend. I'm tired already.

shawnabm1320 hope your appointment goes well. And go for the chick fil a!
flyinghorses6 enjoy your time with your family! We started Z on probiotic drops about a month ago. She definitely seems more regular. Before at least 1-2 times a week she'd go over 24 hours without pooping and be noticeably uncomfortable. Since we started her on them it's only happened once. They really don't seem to have improved her gas situation though.
Z slept from about 8:30-3:30 then 4-6:30. The only downside was that in the evening we couldn't put her down until about 10 because she's wake up and scream whenever we tried.
DH is working today and I'm having lunch with crazycatlady6. Other than that not much planned. I'm testing out dropping from 5 to 4 pumps today to see how that goes supply wise.
Also I got some amazing steals at Nordstrom rack yesterday. I was only there for an hour and managed to do some good damage. I got a Vince camuto bag for $30, a pair of tom's booties for next fall for $15, and a pair of sam Edelman dress flats for $30 (and a few other things)!

Baby slept for crap yesterday and therefore last night. I foresee a long day. Oh well, he's making up for it by being super cute this morning. We have to go to Lowe's today and I may go by TJ Max since it's right there. DH lost like 15lbs since our "lifestyle" change (he doesn't like the word diet). I might pick him up some new smaller sized pants. Church tonight and it's my favorite service of the year so here's hoping it goes well.

Good morning! We had an okay night but I'm still exhausted... what else is new. I could seriously use just one uninterrupted night of sleep. Or at least the promise of one wake up versus our current three.
I made a new mom friend and she invited me to a mom and baby yoga class later today. Other than that I'm going to try to clean and pack for the night at my parents' house on Saturday.
Babes napped too much yesterday apparently because last night was terrible. Good/normal first stretch of 3.5 hours but then we could barely put down the rest of the night. DH and I both semi-slept with babies on us till we got up at 6:30.
LO1 is just antichange right now. She's totally grown out of her 4t shirts so got her some new 5t and she isn't happy.
Gonna make some errand runs today and I'll take just one baby and leave DH with the other. Need to go to Target, Walmart and hyvee. I feel so unprepared to go back to work in a week!
My family is here and I'm so happy! No big plans; just enjoying each other's company.
R has her 2 month appointment today. Anyone here give their LO probiotic drops? Wondering about your experiences with it.
I do! No idea if it works or not, but she hasn't been gassy in the motn for a few days. It's annoying to remember to use them 5x a day, though. So I probably will stop around 3 months. Plus they're kind of expensive.

What kind are you using? The ones we use are once a day. Also a little pricey, but one bottle has 50 doses.

They're mommy' bliss. What brand is yours? Once a day would be much preferable.
I am getting an IUD put in this morning then driving up to the city to my office to interview for a promotion. I have additional interviews and a presentation next week as well. I am feeling confident but I am not sure who else is applying internally so we will see what happens!

Turns out we are not going car shopping today because H doesn't see the point in going on his first day off when we have more time to do it. He likes to put things off for no other reason than putting things off. He also "hasn't done enough research." So here we are, starting off grumpy at each other! I think I am going to make him write thank you notes for his birthday presents... four weeks ago.
This kid fights sleep like crazy during the day. But he definitely sleeps better at night when he does sleep during the day, so I've been really trying to get him to take some naps - but nothing seems to work very well or consistently.

Not much going on here. I've got both kids today, so we have just been playing at home with the windows open to let in a little fresh air. Toddler is in her crib now for a nap quietly talking to herself. Baby is snoozing in the swing. A rare and magical moment!
My sister came over and entertained DD all morning and DS took a decent nap so I was able to get a few loads of laundry done and clean the house. DDs taking a nap so I'm going to do my workout and then maybe just sit for a minute lol.

Appointment went well - I'm all healed and cleared for everything. I was concerned about what the pediatric nurse said when C was born - that she had lost weight for a while instead of gaining weight, but the midwife said there was nothing to indicate that she actually was bigger. Babies who are overdue get more wrinkly skin (that was the reason the nurse said she thought Clara had been bigger at one time) and lose a lot of their coating, and that's totally normal. That makes me feel a little better.
C screamed most of the way home, though. Ugh. I hope she learns to love the car soon; we live at least 30 minutes away from all of our shopping, so she needs to adjust!
Here's hoping she's not too traumatized to nap this afternoon. I have pies to bake!

Evelyn3, I'm sorry LO is fighting sleep. That was my DS too. I had to really work to get him to nap. I can't remember how old your kiddo is, but a lot of babies can't handle being awake for more than 1 - 1.5 hours at this age, so sometimes if you catch them right at their sleepy time, it's easier to get them to sleep.
My dad brought a rapping bunny for L. It seriously raps. WTF Dad? Apparently payback is starting early
H and I are trying to come up with a better plan for next month. I don't want to put my baby in that daycare unless I have no other options because I didn't get a great vibe from it. We're looking into hiring a nanny, but ultimately I want to go back to work part time. We're thinking of hiring a nanny for the summer and then I would talk to my boss about going part time in the fall. If he won't go for it, then I'll look for another part time job for the fall and that gives me the summer to figure it out. I didn't think I'd want to stay home but here I am wanting to stay home. One of those you don't know until you're in the situation type of things!

R and I just got home from a long but fun day. We started out by getting coffee with a new friend I met in mommy and me class on Monday. Then R had PT which he was good until the last 10 minutes where he was hungry. After that he was plenty tired so he slept through lunch with dancerspose and ice cream afterwards but woke up crying and after a bottle and diaper change, we headed home where DH was with the taxes done!!!
The only down side to today was my Fitbit died at some point between mid-February and last night.
And here is a pic for you all since you made us wanting DQ for 2 weeks now...

E has a little cold starting. I think H gave it to her. We went to the pedi this morning and they're not worried. Just said to keep an eye on her and monitor her temperature.
She definitely has a runny nose and is sneezing a lot. My poor sick baby.
She's getting big though. She weighed 11 lbs. 7.4 oz. at the doctor's this morning. 😳
I'm exhausted and overwhelmed by how much I have going on. My leave will be over before you know it and I have SO much to do before then.

How can I hire a professional to clean my house for me every single day without it costing me any money? Is that a thing? Sounds like slavery. Damn it.
Got the kids out today and we had fun and it was great until DD2 and DS had a crying competition on the way home. Then got them down to sleep and I noticed what a dump my house is. So I'm on tapa cause I'm grossed out by my house but more tired than I am disgusted and my kids are all napping/quiet so I just want to sit.
