Poor C can't breathe through his nose. I suctioned him at 4:15 and again at 5 and he is still struggling when laying flat. Soooo I had to wake up H to help me move the couch back to the living room and I am now awake and he is asleep on my shoulder or guy.
Today we are finishing up cleaning carpets (the living room was last night and is why the couch was displaced) with two kids and two dogs. Fun holiday weekend here .
We also have someone coming at nap time to evaluate our roof for damages from the storm last week.
waitwhat maybe J is getting a tooth? That's what I keep telling myself is E's problem.
AFM, in trying to catch up on the last 2 days. So don't mind all the late LT's. We started driving yesterday to go visit my family. @waiwhat I waved hello as I passed your region. dashook and cheshie6, I'll say hello to you today!
Drive went ok, in 7 hours of driving, there was only an hour and half of crying. But not too much of all out bawling. For some reason, O didn't nap at all on the drive?!?! So he was keeping E up, hence the crying. Then last night we stayed in a hotel and he wouldn't go to sleep. H and I almost rung a toddlers neck. I swear we love him, don't call cps.
Last leg of the drive today and then the week visiting family! So excited to see everyone!
We have a $1000 deductible on damages and the roof is about at the end of it's lifespan. Sooo being told we need a new roof a d only having to pay $1000 vs paying for a whole new roof wouldn't be that terrible. Not that I want to spend $1000 but ya know.
Morning! Currently have a toddler crying and laying on the floor because I said he couldn't have more corn for breakfast. This kid would eat the entire can and he already had a bunch. This weekend is starting off great!
We're going to attempt dying eggs and then I have a ton of prep work to do before hosting Easter tomorrow. Wish me luck, I have 15 people coming, me and my two hooligans and H works tomorrow! At least all the company will be a good distraction for E!

Morning everyone. Today we're going to our favorite sushi place for lunch then going to my grandma's for dinner. Not sure what we're doing in between but at least we have the important things figured out.
H asked me this morning when my hair will stop falling out because he's scared that I'm going to go bald lol. So when does this stop? It seems like it's not slowing down much.
hangry glad the drive went okay! One of these times you will have to come say hi for real goldenlove3 with DS my hair fell out from 14-24 week PP. This time it started for me at 13 weeks so I'm hoping I am almost done since I'm 21 weeks PP now.
D slept well again, thank goodness, waking up around 4:30 to eat then up for the day at 6:30. I wish I weren't feeling SO tired though. Maybe it's the shock of having to use my brain again for two days this week. Really glad I started with a very short week!
We're not doing anything exciting today. Just hanging out with the babies, and DH and I might go to Verizon to see about upgrading our phones. I bet we'll wind up taking the kids out somewhere fun for an early dinner too.
aggiebug I hope C has much relief soon! Both of my LOs have stuffy noses over night every night, I feel terrible :-(
hangry Good luck with the rest of the drive ! I'm terrified to go longer than 1.5 hours right now bc my kids start grunting and try to hump the air to get out of their car seats after their nap (obvi they can't bc strapped in but I know what they're signaling bc they do it at the house in their bouncer and exercauser and sit me up). Does anyone else's do this?!?!
goldenlove3 Have fun at your grandmas! I miss my grandma so much, nothing better than time with our parents and grandparents - enjoy every second!
If she were just a short napper and woke up happy I wouldn't care. But I can't stand her waking up screaming and miserable because she only slept 20 minutes. Like if you're still tired just go TF back to sleep. It's not complicated.
Someone (:::cough::: H :::cough::: and MIL :::cough: got AV in the habit of wanting a bottle to fall asleep on so I was just dealing with an extremely overtired baby who cried herself to sleep in my arms bc I wouldn't let her take a bottle to sleep (she's not hungry, trust, girl is NOT hungry). 😩😩 I feel so bad. Every time I break her from the habit they manage to screw it up in less than a day because they insist on "helping" with her naps. No guys, just rock her and if she isn't going to sleep let her stay up a little longer until she's more tired.
She was doing it last night too but I won't break it overnight, I work on breaking it during the day bc it breaks my heart to see them cry for something like that and I don't want to interrupt their sleep.
Anway, cleaning and Easter prepping today!! I love this time of year!!

dashook I mean I'm almost 24 weeks PP. I feel like I shouldn't still be pulling huge clumps out of the drain. And C is doing the sorry nap thing too. It drives me crazy.
kleigh Thanks, I will enjoy it 😁 C arches his back the worst in the tub which is a ton of fun. He doesn't like his car seat either. I'm just about ready to switch to the convertible because he's getting so heavy anyway. Hopefully he likes that better.
And we're getting ready to put the swing away. We don't use it anymore and it's taking up a lot of space. I just put his jumper together yesterday and trying to get through my living room is a maze of baby and dog toys.

Thanks vinolove. I'm not BF and my cycle has been normal since my period started but hopefully I'm still in the normal timeframe. I haven't been good about continuing my prenatals and wonder if that would help.

+whatever to still losing an obscene amount of hair. I can't wait for it to let up.
I stayed up way too late filling plastic Easter eggs last night and I probably have way too many eggs for one kid, but I don't care, I'm excited for tomorrow! I filled only a few with candy (M&Ms and chocolate Cadbury mini eggs) and the rest with stickers and I bought some jumbo sized eggs and put matchbox cars in them. And then for his basket I got sidewalk chalk, bubbles and some glow sticks, and a chocolate peanut butter bunny (let's be real, the bunny is for me).
We're taking DS1 to get his hair cut this evening, which is almost as bad as going to the doctor. Poor kid HATES getting his hair cut.
Excessive amounts of hair falling out here, too. It's disturbing. I may need to buy one of those drain cleaners, Vino!
We had soccer this morning and my sister was kind enough to bring me DD coffee, bless her. B scored three goals (and a 4th for the other team 😂) so he was happy. Since we got home we've been packing boxes. I need to make a Publix run, and we're going to my parents' tonight for a shrimp boil.
And I need to find a few minutes to dye eggs with B. I guess worst case, we can do it tomorrow before church.
goldenlove3 I'm still losing hair too. It's totally normal. Like @vinlove said, your hormones are still trying to regulate. It doesn't matter whether you're taking your prenatal or your cycle has returned.
Good to know! I didn't think those things meant anything but just mentioned it just in case. I'll just tell H to deal with it lol.
If it's not too late sophiegrace care to AW some colored egg photos? You guys know about my issues right? Anyone. We didn't dye eggs and now I'm wishing we did because the colors. I need to see the colors. Lined up nice and pretty.

We had a busy day! Woke up early for a 5k. Then went to Target and got Lilah an Easter outfit. My mom bought us a 2nd highchair as well. We ended up just getting the same one we have for Lillian, just a different color. When we got home, I finished the other front garden bed. It does need 2 more plants, but that's easy. We had lunch and a nice nap. Lillian and I made funfetti sugar cookies that we'll frost tomorrow and bring to my mom's for Easter dinner.
DH is watching a football game, but when it's over we are going to get Chinese for dinner. Before we put the girls to bed, we'll color eggs. Lillian picked out the Frozen kit because she's obsessed with princesses. Once they're asleep, I'll put together their Easter baskets. Then sleep!
Tomorrow we're doing an egg hunt at our house in the morning and then doing dinner with the family at my mom's. They're making lamb chops and steaks with potatoes and veggies. Yum!
What is the difference between ice cream and frozen yogurt? Like I know ice cream is creamier but is that it? They taste so similar to me. And I definitely have never had non-frozen yogurt that tasted as sweet as the frozen kind.

Ice cream: has 10% milk fat or more and is made with cream
Frozen yogurt: made with cultured milk (yogurt) and no cream.
Eta: frozen yogurt rarely tastes like yogurt because of how much sugar and flavorings go into it. You can make it yourself if you have an ice cream machine. You literally just put yogurt into it and soft serve comes out.
