DD1 has been so sick today. Miserable, crying, not eating, and sleeping most of the day. I took her to the pediatrician and they think it's something viral, possibly originating as croup earlier in the week. Offered us antibiotics (for a possible developing ear infection) and an inhaler, but I suspect this will all run it's course on it's own in a few days. I'm going to hold off on the meds for at least another day or two. She seemed to be perking back up a bit tonight and did actually eat a small amount of dinner so I'm hopeful she's on the mend. I just hope she sleeps tonight. The last 2 nights have been brutal.
Happy Easter. The kids and I just got home from dropping H at the airport and a Panera run. They threw their bagels all over the van and are now fighting me for my bacon egg and cheese everything bagel.
Sister is going to the beach, we might go with but I haven't decided. I need to do wash and meal prep.

@janetheconquerer tortilla pizza! It's in the fit girl book but it's such an easy one for the kids. Tortilla, slap some sauce, topping and cheese on there and cook it. It's a quick one.

@janetheconquerer i do this with a product called flat out. My suggestion regardless of what you use is to cook the tortilla or flat out for 5-7 minutes then put the sauce and toppings on. Then cook the whole thing for 5-7 min. If you cook the tortilla first it won't get soggy
It's 5 and both kids are already in PJ's. C has tried falling asleep several times already. Lord help me and tell me this isn't a sign of what's to come....

Pizza waffles. It's basically a grilled cheese sandwich with whatever other toppings you might want. Cook it in the waffle maker, then dip in marinara. @janetheconquerer
Easter is so much fun so far! We did our own egg hunt in the yard, no wrappers, no trampling, no scary renditions of the crucifixion. Cooked my own lunch. No in laws. Friends came over. Just nice.

shellyr, you have all of my sympathies. I used to live 45 minutes from my in laws and parents. Holidays were always a cluster duck. After one Christmas, we started a rule of only one set per holiday.
So much fun. I'm glad I insisted on going to our friend's and not the in laws. M was so good! He warmed up super quick and had a blast. He's exhausted. Where did this weekend go?
