What's everyone up to?
I've already done Walmart, the grocery store, Carters and Party City with DD. It was crazy, people were crazy in the stores and driving. Lucky for me I don't have any more errands to do today, I may go to Starbucks for a coffee but that's about it. I'm ready for DD to go down for her nap so I can take one too.
I got DD balloons since it's her birthday this week. Best $10 I've spent in awhile, the kid loves them.
Tomorrow we're going to my moms for Easter dinner. I'm excited for all the yummy food, my sister is bring cake for DD's birthday. Should be good!
We're doing a late Easter lunch today with family. It's been so nice here that we spent most of the morning at the park with the grandparents and she's down for a long nap right now.
We're doing a small gender reveal too. Everyone's been asking DD "what color is the balloon" that we're going to open from a box So far it's been blue, purple, green, and yellow. That's what they get for asking our barely two-year old to name and remember a color!

We did the Easter egg hunt at our apartment complex this morning. DS had a ball. He loves eggs and has played with his eggs from last year all year, so he was so excited to hunt for them. Then we came inside and turned on sesame street for him while we packed up our bedroom. I have resigned myself to a handful of favorite clothes and maternity clothes for probably the next 2 months and packed everything else away. Now it is finally naptime and I'm curled up on the couch to read. My iPad's memory was getting full from all the books on my kindle app waiting for me.
I am down visiting my parents - has been nice to see a few high school friends and college roommates. Of course, I've eaten way too much. Whoops.
Bonus is today my kid was only 75% glued to me instead of the last two days which were 125%. She also is in a growth spurt - had three breakfasts and then apparently ate a massive lunch when her grandparents took her out.

We went to my cousin's for Easter dinner. DS again enjoyed hunting for eggs. They also dyed some eggs and he got blue dye all over his hands and mouth, haha.
Now we're relaxing for the rest of the day.
Tomorrow is church and then dinner at the in-laws.

shytimes My daughter can put away more food than me when she's going through a growth spurt. She's almost two and maybe 23 pounds I have no idea where she puts all of it since she's so tiny.
augustblooms this was serious business but then she barely ate any chicken and dumplings tonight. I think it might also be a flavor thing. She's not much for bland food a la boiled chicken.
Eta my favorite thing about growth spurts is the napping. She took two 90 minute naps which is unheard of. Means I got two naps. Huzzah!

Hi all! We've had an extremely busy, but fun, day. Easter bunny has come and gone at our house. H is out fishing with his nephew and I'm barely holding my eyes open watching TV. I hope everyone has a great Easter tomorrow!
Happy Easter! 🐰 yesterday we had an awesome day as a family - we did an egg hunt for little man, bbqed, and went for a family walk. Our doula for LO2 also came over and I was exciting talking about birthing wishes and hopes.
Today we are going to church and dying eggs. We live away from family so it's kind of sad. It kind of fun to start our own traditions, too!
14 weeks yesterday and I feel like I should be past this bullshit MS by now so I tried stopping my meds. Daytime is fine. Nighttime is not fine. I'm crabby, sad and wondering if I'll ever feel normal again. Blah.

Happy Easter! We celebrated yesterday with DH's family and made our pregnancy announcement. My SIL/MIL already had a feeling so it was a "I knew it!" moment and then we moved on.
Today it is gorgeous out. I am doing laundry while DD naps, then it will be off to the park once she wakes up.

I have eaten so much food today. Ham, sweet potato casserole, butter beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, garlic bread, and let's not forget all of the desserts. A pregnant girl's dream (minus the bloat associated with it).

On the road home from my mom's, with 4 dogs in tow 😂
We are either going to have to start taking two cars for the holidays, or get a minivan after baby arrives
Van 4lyfe. We have 4 dogs and got a van before DD was born. It's awesome. I recommend CarMax. You get all the bells and whistles on a one or two year old model with a great price tag to go with it. No way we could afford the brand new version of the van we got. DVD player, Sirius radio with navigation, blue tooth, etc. The list goes on.
That's awesome! Maybe we will use Carmax next time!! I love my Van too , best thing we ever did!

Cytheblackmamba @thatgirlrachel thank you for the sweet messages reminding me that you were thinking of me. I just got home. Spinal just wore off! Took over 6 hrs! And I'm still dumb in the pelvic and vag area. MFM was happy with the cerclage and told me I have a 95% chance of success since I already had a successful cerclage and since we did it so early. I'm just happy to be home and hoping and praying this pregnancy goes smoothly now that the cerclage is in place!
