runningmommy519, they give dried cranberries and raisins at Dc, which are similar size and texture to fruit snacks, so I wouldn't worry too much about the choking. P also chews things forever so I don't get too stressed.
My interview is today at 11:30 so that is exciting. I don't have dress pants that fit though so I have to wear my skirt suit which feels like total overkill for this position but oh well lol.
Meh, better to overdress than underdress. Good luck!
Busy weekend with my parents. They're giving me mixed messages about wanting to move here vs Florida, where my brother is. They have been saying they want to move here since I moved here, even more since I had kids, but also get a place in Florida. But they're freaking out over the cost of houses, and now might be just moving to Florida and visiting here. I get it. I live in a very high COL area. But please just decide and stop bitching about how expensive the houses are! It's not going to change, and gees, I'm not going to hold it against you if you don't want to spend all your retirement money on one house.
H got an extra week off in May. We were thinking of taking the kids to the beach for a week. Buy, if we did that, J would be missing his second-to-last week of preschool. It's only preschool, but he LOVES it and it feels weird to miss one of the last 2 weeks. Would you go on the vacation or let him get all the class time?
When we buy a house (please let that be in the early fall...) I really want to look into a monthly or bi-monthly cleaning service. I struggle now and our house is TINY.
layloo08, We are going to start with monthly. Our house isn't huge either, but once we finish the basement we will double our living space. We want to find someone we know and like now before we double the size of the house. Plus working FT really doesn't leave a lot of time for me on the weekends when I'm wrangling the 2 kids.

Exactly. I do most of my cleaning during nap time, but shit. I'd like to use that time for downtime myself. FX you like the people!
packmomma Sorry you guys are dealing with croup. That ER bill is ridiculous! Does your insurance cover any of it? I'm glad W seems a little better today. Beware, croup is the worst at night when they're lying down sleeping. That's when the cough is out of control. So it could be a rough night. Hopefully the steroids will do their job and the cough won't be as bad as last night.

E just walked to the gate and said ba ba (which is what he calls his pacifier) my child just asked for his pacifier so he could take a nap. My child just asked to take a nap. 😳
aydee that's our ER copay! What really sucks is that if we had taken him when we first heard his cough we could've taken him to after hours. For $75. But they were closed by the time we realized he was wheezing. I hope tonight he passes out. But h will at least be here to help.
