And you shouldn't feel that way either. Weight is a number. That's it. The BMI scale is actually a pretty poor measurement of health, and weight shouldn't be the only focus. You are beautiful, you're exercising and getting stronger, and you should feel good about yourself.

I'm feeling so defeated. I've stayed on track nutrition wise (under 1600-1700 calories), I have not had alcohol, I have not missed a workout and the scale has been slowing creeping up. As off today it went up more and I gained 4.2 lbs in the last 10 days. I'm not on my period nor is that coming anytime soon. It's possible I'm retaining some water from date night but regardless the scale has still been up. Wtf?

Muscle gain? Maybe you need to lower your calories more. This challenge I'm on is based on 1400 calories a day. Are you watching your sodium intake too? Drink more water, no soda.

Hang in there, you've been killing it!!! 💪💪
I just took my measurements which I haven't done since I started and I've lost some inches in my chest and in my hips. So that's good. It just sucks because I'm still like 25 pounds overweight. I know bmi is outdated but still.
runningmommy519 maybe you're not getting enough calories? I know when I restrict too much my body holds on to the weight, but if I eat a little more I lose. It's tricky finding the balance for me.
That's possible too. I usually find success with 1600-1700. Im thinking of trying macros. You eat so many carbs, proteins and fat each day (which make up your total calories). There's websites that calculate that for you based on your goals and provide support for a small fee.
