I think I'm going to go to Zaxby's for lunch and get some buffalo boneless wings with bleu cheese and fries, then add pickles that I have at home. You know, to cute the grease or something.

peggels24 they gave him a steriod shot and are keeping him on prednisone. He's hoping to just take some benedryl and pass out when we get home. I'm gonna get him as set up as I can. I work 45 minutes away so I can't just pop home if he needs me.
Thanks, laurensc927. He's super uncomfortable but they actually gave him a warm blanket in the ER so that helped him feel a little better. I was a bit jealous.

Gap is having a 40% off everything including sale sale so I just spent $300 on maternity clothes I'll be sending a lot of it back but I really need some pants that aren't jeans. I pulled out my maternity clothes over the weekend and remembered that all the pants I had sucked. It's a couple more months until skirt weather here and I need something to wear to work.
I got weighed before my blood draw yesterday and I was up 6 lbs since 2.5 weeks ago Yikes.
Yea it really sucks some days. The commute is actually one of the reasons I'm considering resigning instead of just going on leave when #2 arrives. I'm going to call in to my meeting today. DH told me that he'd really prefer me to stay home in case he like, falls down the stairs or something. If he could open his eyes, I'd be going to work. Oh well.

If you have an appointment time, I feel like they should be reasonable about getting you in around that time. Check in with the front desk and see if you can reschedule.
My office is almost always running 15-20 minutes behind. However, I've been the reason why they get backed up so I understand that they are usually taking care of more immediate patient needs. It only annoys me when I really really have to pee and I know they need me to pee in a cup. Ultrasound is in a different area and is more timely though than the OBs.

I had a dream last night that I visited someones house (no clue who) and they had just had their floor done with the most beautiful mosaic tiles. I dropped to my knees and started crying at how beautiful it was. I literally woke up full on crying with tears running down my face... WTF is that? Balling over a tiled floor... there is something so wrong about that. lol

Good luck at ultrasounds today everyone! I'm still counting down to mine (3.5 hours to go)! Work is dull since I'm just updating learning modules on the computer.

Zaxby's always makes a minor error with my order that I never catch until I get home. They didn't sub ranch for bleu cheese this time. Sighhhhhhhh... Oh well, I keep going back so I have no one but myself to blame.

Well I have been looking for summer dresses. Thanks for the heads up!

I ask to do my sample when I check in so I don't have to sit around with a full bladder.
I just bought 3 dresses from Gap. They aren't maternity, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to wear them for awhile. I really don't like buying strictly maternity clothes if I can help it.

AFM, I'm counting down to my first OB appointment and US. 4.5 more hours but the good news is I'll leave the office in about 2.5 hours since I'm heading to my H's office across town first to pick him up and then across town in a different direction to the doctor's office. Frustrating but preferable to waiting longer for an appointment at our local office. I'm soooooo anxious because of lack of symptoms + pgal brain so any spare good thoughts would be appreciated.

I didn't love any of their dress options. Hope you find something that works!
I'm going to check out that sale bostonbaker, I ordered a couple pairs of mat work pants from Old Navy, but they are gigantic and I'm not actually sure if they'll ever fit, so I think I need to take them back. Old Navy sizing is so frustrating! The XS mat workout capris I bought fit great right now and will likely be too small at some point. The chinos I bought in size 2 are so big they won't fit til fall (by my estimate based on nothing, ha).

I love my gap maternity work pants. Wearing some now. Might order a couple more pairs because I love them so much.
I'm short (5'2") so I'm a little worried about the length but we'll see. That's always my biggest challenge, there's like zero selection in short lengths and even when I hem stuff I still feel like it hits me wrong.
I also prefer demi panel over full panel, at least from Gap. I found that the full panel just dug into my stomach by the end of 2nd tri and left an awkward looking lump under my shirts.

+1 to buying non-maternity clothes in bigger sizes @annperkins This works well with stretchy dresses and flowy tops. But I do love gap and old navy maternity leggings (not the full panel ones). I wear those even when not pregnant. So comfy!
