I'm waiting for the pharmacy to fill my script for the pink eye. JoBub - good call on the Little Clinic. I was in and out in like ten minutes.
Pink eye triggers a migraine for me. I used to get it a lot when I wore contacts. The drops do work quickly though. Feel better. Warm compresses help too.

My eyes already feel better and I've just done one round of drops.
I also started back on my Zyrtec. We were talking about how the Z Pack relieved the sinus infection, but I still have all this congestion and coughing, so she said it could be back to back viral, which we know abx won't really help, or it could be my allergies. I know some of you mentioned that, but I've never experienced allergies present like this before.

So I gave in and got the chicco bravo for 2 stroller on an Albee baby sale. It shipped today and I'm soooo excited to use it. We started walking in the evening and we have to take 2 strollers and it's kind of annoying. I'm just hoping N will be ok riding on the back with this one. We also went down to the Loveland bike trail one evening, I really love it down there! Next time we go I want to try the Italian ice place yum.

He doesn't. He and H are ok. She told me they should be fine as long as they haven't been touching me then their eyes, which I've kept them both away and we've all been using hand sanitizer; and that after I've used the drops for 24 hours, I won't be contagious anymore.

Sanitize all hand and bath towels, plus pillow cases in the dryer- that's a big one.
And yes for some people allergies are very very bad here. I take allergy meds when I'm not pregnant or nursing with a decongestant. I'm using flonase right now since it doesn't affect supply. And I still feel like I have a sinus headache/ fatigue/ tired eyes/ snot/ post nasal drip- pretty much 24/7 from March to Oct.

Yep. I made DH change his pillowcase last night. I have my own bath and hand towel, and doing laundry, so hopefully we're good.

So Zyrtec is a no when nursing? I don't know if it has a decongestant.

Answering for becole..not that I'm aware of, it doesn't have a decongestant unless it's the Zyrtec-D version. I also take singulair and it really seems to help with my allergies and asthma.

Ok good. The regular Zyrtec has worked really well for me so far. Last year was the first time I had to take a daily allergy pill, so not super familiar. I guess all the vegetation here really kicks up pollen or something. I come from a concrete jungle, dust was my biggest issue there.

I think the allergies are bad bc we are in a valley area or something. I remember hearing about it before. I think I heard Louisville is supposed to be worse for allergies too and this crazy up and down weather probably didn't help this year. I would recommend looking into singulair too. It's prescription but it seems like it really helps me.

I need to start making a list of things I need for this baby. I think most of what I need is BF supplies and some bottles to start off with. Nursing bras... food stuff. I need to look over my registry and update... when do we get the completion coupon?
I think you can take a lot of things while nursing except the decongestant. I just don't because I'll talk myself into thinking it's affecting my supply and it's just better for me to just deal with it. Same reason I'm waiting to get my iud this time until I'm done nursing. For me, the good stuff that makes a big difference is a no. I don't get the much relief from Zyrtec or Claritin.

Maybe 30 days before?? I can't remember for sure. Don't buy too much off your registry...wink wink. Oh, did you end up getting the spectra pump?

I did! Should I look through it? I figure it's new and should be in working order right? I have A LOT of parts from my Medela (I still have the pump), so I'm hoping I can use some of those bottles and stuff on the Spectra.

Me too. I have done pretty much nothing to prepare for this baby.

I don't think you'll need to look through, just curious if that's the one you got. If you have flanges/bottles from medela you can use those with the spectra with some adapters they sell on amazon.

C still has an undecorated nursery, poor second kid. You've probably got clothes covered right? I guess I didn't feel like there was a ton needed right away with #2 except for diapers and stuff for yourself like nipple cream, breast pads etc. assuming you are just planning to re-use E's stuff like bassinet, bouncer etc. Start a registry!!

sstwinklinglites do you still need a crib? I think we are going to switch O to a big boy bed in the next month or so. We were going to get him one for his birthday, but had to write the IRS a big check, so want to wait a bit. Let me know if you're still interested and I'll hold onto it until after you move next month.

I'm stocked on clothing. I was putting away all babes clothes that don't fit yesterday and I have five bins stuffed to the max. And my mom told me she and my sister have bought a ton more clothing.
