Today we are expecting the kids new swing set to get delivered! The trucking company called me Thursday to organize a time this morning. It's just a bigger metal set to replace the old hand me down falling apart one we have, but they are going to be so pumped because new and a couple extra features. We really wanted to save up for a big wooden set, but oh well. Me and the bank account are happy with this decision!
Is this where I confess that even though it's spring break I just dropped off lo at daycare? Could not take spending another whole day trying to keep lo from crawling all over his dad who is STILL on bed rest while copped up inside because of the poopy weather! Have a massage and some major cleaning planned for today.

Would have done the same. In fact, H is doing that today. He's off, I'm at work, DS is at day care. H is really jazzed that he's got some system rigged where he can play all the classic Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega games, and DS is happily playing at day care. When I get home, there should be two happy boys waiting for me, so win-win! Enjoy your free day
H is off today, and I'm at work, but we are planning on meeting for a lunch date later, so looking forward to that at least! Also, Jilly (the dog) has been acting weird the last almost week or so - not wanting to go up/down stairs, jump on the couch, etc., but this morning she's finally acting a lot better! I was starting to worry and was planning on having H take her to the vet today - she's nine years old, so that's a concern too. But glad my old lady dog was acting more like her young at heart self this morning

Grabbing smoothies for breakfast on our way over to my MIL's. I'm counting down the hours to our flight this afternoon. Really looking forward to work tomorrow morning.
Never been so happy to be back to work! DH worked ALL weekend, so I had to shuffle the kids to and from Easter celebrations. S has AWFUL diaper rash, so she was a delight at every diaper change yesterday.
Yes sugarkissedBluedaisy we were some of the lucky ones, just got about 1/2-1" yesterday and it's all melted again! A little cool today yet but it looks like it's going to be a nice week!
I wish I could rewind to yesterday. We had a super nice relaxing Easter Sunday. They had chairs and screens set up outside for Church which was much nicer than being cooped up in the family chapel (they had also done the actual sunrise service outside, but we didn't make it). It rained the rest of the day so we ended up just having a lazy day at home, some of our family came over for pizza for lunch, and then we did an Easter Egg Hunt for Gianna just inside the house. We had gone to an outdoor egg hunt Saturday but the eggs were all picked up in about 30 seconds so it was fun walking around the house with her and seeing her get so excited putting the eggs in her basket without a hundred other kids around. We also got our taxes finished finally, which was painful, but we're getting a refund so that will be nice!
This week should be a lot less stressful at work than last week, so that's cool, but I'm already looking forward to the weekend.
budders I'm volunteering for the charity casino for the daycare tonight and tomorrow night from 10pm-3am so he will definitely be there Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm going to need sleep and DH is still restricted in what he can do.
Bluedaisy, last week was one of the times I wished that O went to daycare so I could drop him off for some much needed time to myself. Today is the last day of break and it was such a great break. I'm feeling ready to plow through to the end of the school year and spend the summer with my little guy. We'll see how I feel after tomorrow I imbibed a bit too much yesterday and am paying for it today. Whoops. I figure I hardly ever drink and we have zero plans today. I'm resetting the house so it's clean when I go back to work tomorrow.

Mandatory webinar at work today. I get OT pay for it, but still... We were supposed to start at noon and we still haven't started because no one can follow directions to connect.
So....freaking out....my c-section scar is burning and I went to look at it and there's a dime sized red circle on the end of the scar. Going to the OB at 3.

Still upset over my sister's comment this weekend. She asked when we're having baby #2 and I said probably when M starts talking and starts daycare, and she tells me, but he might not talk til 3. OK then. I need to learn to not take what she says to heart.
holliberry28 I know it's easier said than done, but definitely try not taking that to thought. 3 is well over a year away and these kiddos change in a flash in that time. What a weird thing to say to someone.

What a rude thing for your sister to say holliberry28! I was thinking of you and your handy ttc/age chart this morning while trying to decide when the best time to start ttc #2☺️

holliberry28 What a dumb comment! A few people asked me this weekend when we're going to have baby #2. I just told them not anytime soon. Maybe they are just making conversation and maybe they are just eager for another baby in the family, but it's none of their business so I just lie.

I'm sorry, too. It's just a frustrating question in general.
I'm sorry for the weird comment, holliberry28. I think people often don't understand/forget how emotionally loaded TTC can be. We were at a birthday party a few weeks ago with a bunch of H's friends, many who we don't really see regularly and don't know about all our infertility struggles, etc. We got a lot of "oh, baby #2 better come soon, huh" comments, and part of me wanted to launch into a tirade about how it's not always that simple for a multitude of reasons.

An evil coworker left chocolate bunnies on everyone's desk last week. I just polished mine off. We literally have at least five more bunnies at home from Easter with families. Lupron injections and estrogen pills have started for our FET cycle. This is all a very dangerous combination.
