Speaking of baby colds... I am having a really hard time telling T has normal baby congestion or a cold. He was so snotty after birth, then calmed down, now it's back and this time with actual snot. It's really bad at night and he snores because of it. I just have no idea. I don't remember this at all from Clara
F has the same issue. I actually called the pedi about it and they told me it could allergies or a cold, but unless it got worse or he has a fever, there is nothing to do but suction and use a humidifier. I think in our case it's been a series of colds. DS1 brings home every preschool cold possible, plus we're out and about a lot more this time. But it's definitely a pain, especially at night!
Seems about right! I was wondering if allergies was a thing in babes too. Also, we have a cat. I hope that's not it

Hopefully not! There's a lot going around right now so hopefully it's just a cold.
mosdub yeah, she really buries her head in my chest....it does not look comfy. I think I'll stick to shorter periods of time for now. She was super red when I took her out. Oops.
renegadewhit interesting. Until this thread, I had no idea baby's could have normal congestion. That's one thing we aren't dealing with here. Glad he's good today!
suelou18 That would stress me out too! FWIW, a few friends kids have gone to speech therapy. It seems to be one of those things where overnight kids start talking a LOT more. From my general observation before I was a Mom- it just seemed like some kids did that earlier than others, but once they started...it was fast. Hugs, though. I hope they get you in soon!

I just found out a little bit ago that my great uncle passed away. He's been in and out of the hospital since before DD was born and got really bad last week. They found out yesterday it was cancer but it was too far along to do anything.
I'm feeling weird about it I think. I feel bad for his girls, but we weren't close. He talked to Dh more than me. I also think my dads death almost 7 years ago rocked my world so bad that this isn't really isn't phasing me. I feel kind of guilty about not feeling worse.
Had my 6 week appointment. Officially back on birth control. H is super stoked that we *might* have sex soon. I don't think we've done it since before third tri.
C had a poop incident in his car seat while at the doctor. So that was fun.
My poor dh is soo horny >< He's going to the urologist today to plan for getting the snip. He won't let me go back into surgery at this point and I had little A at a Catholic hospital, so my doctor wasn't allowed to tie my tubes while she was in there. >.<
I hope you guys get to have some fun before we do.. it's been since.. egads >< due to high risk, it is has been since last May. What a ride ><
callmeKD hi! I can only imagine the craziness of two. My little guy is keeping me super busy. Are they at least remotely on a similar schedule, or do they do the whole as soon as one falls asleep the other wakes up game?
I'm going to go catch up, but caer I think you asked about a double stroller awhile back. I took the kids to the zoo today and fit all 3 in the city select. L's seat is all the way reclined, but it could also fit her car seat if I wouldn't have worn her for part of the trip. *poof*

Thank you! I actually went to BRU this weekend with the intention of buying that stroller but it was out of stock. I ended up buying the Chicco Cortina instead because it goes with my car seat. But I appreciate the recommendations and it does look like an awesome stroller!
DD1 will be 3 May 31st. She's cranky without them! She was fighting them the first month with new baby but has been doing one everyday the past week or so. She always naps at daycare/preschool (two days a week).

I'm sorry for your loss. Try to not feel guilty about your feelings; an I'll great uncle is not going to affect you the same as your parent passing, and that's okay.

He actually took a nap today and he's in way better spirits. He turns 3 Monday so this is promising.
Love tit for the drink, not the bad night @justinslovo . I hope the night gets easier from here!
Dumb question...What does the bolded stand for? It's been driving me nuts. I know it's associated with likes, but does it mean/stand for something?
I think - and someone correct me if I'm wrong - that it used to say "(screenname) loved it" if you hit the like button on a post. So this kind of sounds like love tit and it got shortened to tit. If I recall correctly anyway!

That's kind of how I heard it in my head. Just didn't know if there was something else super obvious that it might mean.

I think my mom gave me her damn cold. She swore she wasn't contagious and everything I read said she would have been a few days prior to when we were around each other. My throat hurts and my head is starting to feel stuffy.
suelou18 I hope you get some answers soon. That is very stressful to have been on a waitlist for that long. What prompted the referral? Did daycare recommend it or the pedi just based on the well-check?
meggypoo1 is he able to feed or is the congestion interfering with his suck? Does saline help? I know we encountered a cold because the congestion was very abrupt and went away over a couple of days.

Hi! They are sort of on the same schedule. N is awake much more during the day and she is ready for bed by 8pm. Sometimes she wakes up to eat and sometimes she sleeps through the night. E is still getting up in the MOTN consistently but it's down to 1 wake up. There are times where they are both awake and can play with each other and then there are the times where they are both screaming because they want to eat. Life with twins is a wild ride.
