right?! I don't even want to think about it. I was a mess last week making their collages and going through all their pictures and videos of their first year, haha. I was saying crazy things like I WANT TWINS AGAIN. Pippa can verify that the first birthday has done crazy things to me.
MIL asked me if we're going to go for twins again....
Big fat HELL NO.
When I was younger I really wanted twins. Now with just the one... I think having twins would have killed me. I have a lot of respect for you multiples mommas!
I'm only 5 months in and I look at their newborn pics and cry. And in a rare moment have told MH that I want another baby. SAY WHAT?!
The day after giving birth, MH was helping me to the bathroom and I told him that birth wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I could do it again. He stared at me and said "I think the pain meds have made you delusional." . Hahahaha

LOL h had been pretty firm OAD but we had "compromised" on two. After the emergency c-section he said "phew I bet you don't want two or more now.."
Nope. I still want more. I didn't want one THAT SECOND but I still want more lol

In my MOTA group there are a bunch of triplet moms. They basically just laugh at us.

Same! When I was younger, I always wanted to have twins. No particular reason besides I thought it would be fun... lol.
We did technically get our first two kids at once, but one was almost 2 and one was an infant, so it was definitely easier than having two newborns! I am so impressed by all of the twin (and triplet) moms here!
Ds is already hinting at his afternoon nap which is weird since he woke up so late today so everything has been pushed back. But teething is a PITA sooooo
She's stopped whining, but I can't keep R out of the bedroom! She just keeps standing at the bed calling for h. I was hoping after her nap she would move on. I even let her up on the bed so she could see he wasn't there, but apparently that didn't work. There's nothing back there She can hurt herself on, so I'm tempted to just let her stay back there until she gets bored, but I don't like not being able to see her.

Facetime maybe? Isn't it funny how kids LOOOOOVE dada? Mine get practically giddy when he walks in the door.

Yeah, I think that's what's going to need to happen. And from now on I'll make sure she sees him leaving! Lol though some days, usually after her last nap, she'll still sit by the front door and just wait for him. One day it was raining so we had the door open and she just sat there waiting muttering dada for like an hour. Lol
onesweetworld, having children has tested my marriage in ways I didn't think was possible. We eventually made a rule (I think this was at about 6 weeks old) that no one talks about divorce and we don't talk in the middle of the night, and basically things that happen MOTN stay there. It was so hard.
I think that's a great rule. I thought I was going to choke him when he woke me.
This morning I got a free bagel on my MyPanera card and asked for a cup of coffee as well. I was all ready to pay for the coffee and had my credit card out, but the girl working there said not to worry about it! So I got a free bagel and a free coffee! Sometimes its the small things that can put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
The video call wouldn't connect, so I put on some videos of h and R playing together and She was loving it. But every time a video would end she would start crying until the next one started. Lol. I'm having all the feels about how much I love these two! [br
PDQ, I'm poofing in a few because of his name. *Poof*

I am shocked by the terrible party/shower etiquette posts every time I read them. You'd think by now I wouldn't be surprised at what people do, but they get me every time.
Hell no to a DIY wedding shower or whatever mustloveerica almost got roped into.
And I've heard of "regrets only" being on the invite, but not with a "please bring food" follow up text like teraiin received.

Also I think baby showers and bridal showers, in general, are awful for everyone except the guest of honor. I've never been to one that was "super fun". That's why they should always have booze. And good food.

Ugh. There are Graco convertible seats on sale at BRU and deal of the day on Amazon so even though DS still fits in his infant seat fine, I'm looking into convertibles.
I am so damn indecisive when it comes to this shit. It took me so long to pick an infant seat and forever to pick a stroller, and now I have to do it again with convertibles.

My toddler has hardly eaten anything today. All she wants to do is nurse and be carried everywhere
Is she jealous of the baby?
She isn't super verbal yet so it's hard to say what's up. She says his name and makes her teddy bear kiss him. But we haven't tried concurrent nursing yet and it's hard for her that sometimes I can't pick her up or nurse her. And I'm still trying to limit carrying her around in one arm while I do stuff, which she doesn't understand. And also her canines are coming in. Fun times :-)
