I'm sorry cagoldi. Is there anything you can do to help ease the day- like hire a cleaning person?
I have a cleaning person but it's more like the layout of my house and lack of storage is making it impossible to be functional.
I guess I'm just doing something I do a lot, which is think about everything that's a mess. I'm really not great at taking things one day at a time but I need to learn to be.
cagoldi I gave up on the house a few years back. It got worse when I started working out a few months ago but I decided more people see me than my house and only 1 of us can look good.
T is an official skating school dropout. I usually make my kids finish what the start but one can only be kicked by an ice skate so many times. The rink credited our account so I can use the money towards one of the many hockey clinics DS1 wants to go to.
I think that part of this feeling is due to the fact that I'm home 24/7. So you'd think I have time to straighten up during the day since I WAH, but no. I see a mess everywhere I look and I have no time to tackle it.
lfigge, it's really hard to have to change therapists, it takes so much time too build trust. I'd be really disappointed in the school district's decision too.
Suggestions on where to get maternity clothes for work? Don't want to spend a lot of money since I won't work more than a month before going on leave, but anything I had from L is too casual.
Sears? I know they have some cheap stuff and some decent styles. Or Old Navy online

Hi everyone. I'm just getting here now. Really busy day. I had to keep C home w me bc DC was trying to say he had pink eye yday. I took him to the pedi- he did not have pink eye. I still had to try and get work done as I've got a lot on this week and it was near impossible w C home w me.
I'm glad you got the shoes back calishove! And sorry to hear about X being sick as well as the hard times you are dealing w now cagoldi. I wen thru a similar spell when C was about 3-4mo old. Having 2 young kids really eats up all the time and free space in your home!
Anyone planning to get the new Starbucks unicorn frap this week? To me it sounds too sweet (and I don't love fraps really anyway), but my curiosity will get the best of me. I'm a sucker for advertising.
Off to see what this is. I don't like frapps either, but unicorn?! 🦄
We are 30 minutes away from another 15+ hour, no nap day. 9 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period is just not enough for him. I'm feeling blue about it for both of us.
How many hours of sleep does your N13 kid get in 24 hours?
lfigge have you worked with a child advocate? The child study team members I work with are terrified of them. Does your district not offer a full preschool program for S? Here if a kid even qualifies just for speech at age 3, they get into a preschool program.

calishove I think H gets about 9-10 hours a night, but she doesn't sleep through the night. She's usually up once, I wish she would sleep all night again. And then she naps 2-3 hours during the day.
calishove, I just posted about this a few weeks ago.
Up until recently, S was sleeping about 10.5-11 hours per night, sometimes more. And he always napped, anywhere from 2-3 hours, usually closer to 3
Fairly suddenly he shortened his sleep time to around 9-9.5 hours per night and he only naps about half the time and when he naps it's only 1-2 hours
So literally overnight he dropped about 2.5 hours per day. I do feel he's crankier overall but not sure if I am attributing that to lack of sleep or being 3 y/o.
I miss the days of long naps and sleeping past 7 AM!!
